Barossa & Light Cab Service highly recommend Langmeil Winery - this is an iconic cellar door in the Barossa Valley, we continually bring guests here for informative and fun tastings with the friendly ...staff. Recently we arrived on a wine tour to a very busy cellar door and they could not have been more hospitable. Tracey was amazing and handled the groups there with ease, always available to answer questions and keep the tasting flowing smoothly. We love the Orphan Bank and Freedom Shiraz - amazing wines with rich heritage. **Special tip book the Freedom tour for a once-in-a-lifetime tour and tasting of the Freedom Shiraz and be treated like a VIP. Awesome value for $50. Thanks to the team at Langmeil, we will definitely be bringing our guests and look forward to seeing you again real soon!

Barossa & Light Cab Service are 100% locally owned and operated, hiring only local drivers who review local businesses wholly on merit and without recompense. Our aim is to provide the best service and experience for visitors to the Barossa Valley to deliver guests to great local businesses such as Langmeil Winery.

Not pretentious, not pushy, just friendly, cheerful, helpful service and delicious wines. No charge for tastings either. Beautiful setting. Enjoying a glass of their Shiraz as I type this review.

I visited with good friends back in late May. Was my first trip to both Langmeil and OZ. I brought back a bottle of the sparkling shiraz and loved it. Now I need more. ;-)

Wow. What a fantastic winery. Thank you to Jodie for looking after us so well. Can't believe it's taken us so long to visit. Well, lots to get around to here in the Barossa. The best red wines around!...!! The best thing about being a local is you can do one winery a day!! Haha. No rushing to the next. Only an hour and a half here. See More

Thank you John for the very special tasting yesterday. It was the highlight of our trip and the best wine!
When your CEO is from the USA and it's just have to have a special morning tea! Thank you to the creative staff who helped put it together. We had ghosts, spiders, bats, fingers, witches hats, blood and guts, Teridaktyl eggs and poop, eyeballs and stacks of lollies! Happy Halloween 🎃 #Langmeilwinery
Wandering through our old Freedom Shiraz vineyard today and noting all the different graceful shapes the trunks of the vines have taken on in their 174 years of life - so beautiful! If you are planning on visiting us be sure to pre-book a Freedom Experience tour and tasting. Allow 1.5 hours, $50 per person.
Our Freedom 1843 vines are starting their 174th veraison.... harvest will be around mid March! #freedom1843shiraz #vintage2017 #barossadirt #Barossa #mybarossa

In case you were wondering about the grapes in our Three Gardens wines, this article by VinePair will enlighten you. Discover more about the Rhône varieties in our Three Gardens Viognier Marsanne Roussanne and Three Garden Shiraz Mataro Grenache.
These wines are a great match to serve with a variety of foods. The Viognier Marsanne Roussanne goes perfectly with seafood dishes, spicy Asian, soft cheeses and creamy pastas while the Shiraz Mataro Grenache is a great match for bar...becued meats, lamb dishes, spicy casseroles and rich tomato pasta dishes.

Rhône blends are the world's second most important blended wines, found all over the world, but what are they, exactly? We break it down for you.

We know we love what we do, but we can't get over some of the fabulous Trip Advisor reviews we receive from customers - "An Absolute Must", "My plans for carry on luggage only have been delightfully dashed", "courteous and interested staff", "We salute you Langmeil", "Wines are fantastic, service is great", "This is an exceptional winery.. the staff are so friendly and accommodating", " OMG Amazing wines. Really respectful, educated and informative about their products."

Without contradiction, Langmeil wines are ‘cutting edge old school’ quality Barossa old vine premium wine.

The paving around cellar door area is looking great! There has been no interruption to Cellar Door opening times so if you get chance come by and check it out!

It's happening at Langmeil! When you visit us next you will see the extensive amount of paving that we have undertaken. It's looking fabulous and when the lawn is planted in the centre making a village green it will certainly be a welcome spot for a picnic.

The annual visit from these pair always starts with our sparkling shiraz (often called Barossa Berocca) before a cooked breakfast!
Thanks for brekky Ian Healy and Mark Taylor, we love the hats and cricket bat!

It's our last day at the #foodandwineexpo on the #goldcoast. Lots to see and taste - we hope to see you. 😊 Our picnic packs for Australia day with our Three Gardens red and white, Steinys Traditional Mettwurst, Zimmy's Barossa Valley Produce beetroot spread and @barossacountrybiscuits cheese sticks!
