The Lapham-Patterson House is excited to participate in the Georgia Historical Society’s Super Museum Sunday, a statewide event and part of the 2018 Georgia History Festival, on Sunday, February 11.
The program invites Georgians to experience our state’s rich history and cultural life and enjoy free admission to participating historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest throughout Georgia, including the Thomasville History Center. This year, Super Museum Sunday will feature nearly 100 venues across the state, the most in the event’s history.
Super Museum Sunday is free and open to the public, the Lapham-Patterson House will offer guided tours at 626 N. Dawson Street from Noon until 4pm on Sunday, February 11.
The Lapham-Patterson House invites you to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Make History for “Be Mine, Victorian Valentine.” Please join us Saturday, February 10th from 10:00 am-Noon as we create one of a kind Victorian-inspired valentines.
All ages are invited to participate and are also encouraged to try the scavenger hunt and explore the Lapham-Patterson House. Admission is $3 for Adults (18+), $2 for Students (6-17), and under 6 are free. Fees include all materials.
The Lapham-Patterson will be open for regular tours beginning at 10:00 am.
The Lapham-Patterson House will be open Friday, December 29 (1pm-4pm) and Saturday, December 30 (10am-4pm) for regular tour hours. Our "Deck the Halls" decorations are still on display!
