FOX Carolina
Morning Anchor/ Reporter
I grew up in Tennessee and Florida and proudly represent both wonderful states! I graduated from the University of Tennessee, with a degree in broadcasting and ...political science.

My life as a journalist has led me on what I call a "tour of the South".
I began my career in the Mississippi Delta, working as a one-man-band reporter and anchor at WXVT-TV. It was such an eye opening experience and incredibly tough at the same time but I wouldn't have had it any other way. My most memorable experience was covering Hurricane Katrina and its horrible aftermath.

In 2006, I moved back to the Sunshine State to Florida's capital city, Tallahassee. I anchored the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts and served as the education reporter for WTXL-TV. I come from a family of educators, so I loved covering issues that were important to teachers, students and parents.

In January 2010, I made the move to the Upstate of South Carolina and joined FOX Carolina as an anchor for The Morning News.

It's tough when my alarm clock rings in the middle of the night but I love what I do!
