New Blog Post: Living in Asia, every day I am reminded of the importance of community. At harvest time I watched as my local neighborhood came together every da...y to help each other with the laborious process of sun drying freshly harvested rice on large tarpaulins spread out on shared roads and bike paths. It made me think that as writers, we too can benefit from coming together to harvest the rewards of our hard work collectively. In Bali for a week we will do both. We will follow our own inner journeys and we'll spend time with our own community to share, support and inspire each other.

Writers need solitude and community. On retreat in Bali you will get both. Only other writers truly get what drives you. Bond with your tribe for a week!

Welcome to Chasing the Rainbow - the first in a three part vlog about the writing process of my first novel, 'A Wild Ride to Love', where a reluctant undercover... agent falls in love with the bikie leader she was sent to bring to justice.
It's intriguing where that initial spark of an idea comes from. It hits you out of nowhere and a story is born. What triggered your inspiration for what you have written, or are writing? Drop me a line I would love to hear from you. Writers minds are a fascinating place.

PS The homework for this month is to write 500 words [or less] about the rivets in the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Don't forget you are 'creative' writers - get to it.
