Get ready for #kamikochi for those planning to visit #japan during the cherry blossom season this year. This place in #chubusangaku National Park is scheduled to be open for public again on April 17th after being closed during the winter season since mid November.
Quick tip: this place is doable as a day trip if you do not have enough time. You will not be able to cover all areas but good enough to have the taste of Kamikochi. From Tokyo, take the first train (around 5am) f...rom #shinjuku station to #matsumoto. It’s a 2.5 hour train ride. There are also other options if you stay closer to Tokyo Station, but you need to change trains. Check out their schedules and routes. From Matsumoto, take a 90 minute train and bus ride to Kamikochi bus terminal and start trekking from there. Make sure you check the schedule of the return bus and train.
If you have time, go to Takayama instead of Matsumoto and stay overnight in #takayama from where you can have the trips to Kamikochi and also Shirakawago.

Anticipation. Everyone was watching what his next move would be.
Kreta Ayer Square, Chinatown, Singapore, 19 Feb 2018.
This place is always packed with people playing board games like Chinese chess, almost all day long. Check it out if you are in the area or if you are planning to visit Singapore. Experience Singapore beyond the Orchard Road and Marina Bay. Sample some tasty local foods too while you are there, including the cheapest One Michelin Star meal, the Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle and also the Nanyang Old Coffee.
Super blue blood moon last night in Singapore. Shot on Fuji X-T2 and Fuji XF 55-200mm lens, from the Marina South Pier. Check out the (almost) complete sequence of the eclipse, the blood moon and the super moon of the blue moon.
Good morning UTC/GMT + 08:00 timezone.
Morning sunlight from behind these dandelion-like flowers in Kamikochi, Chubu-Sangaku National Park, Central Japan, last November. I love backlighting.
I am slowly browsing the 3000+ images I shot on both Fuji X-T2 and iPhone during my 10 day solo trip to Japan last Novemver. A problem with digital. Shot too many, dumped to hard drive and forget about them. 😅
Go shoot, have fun and submit. Now till 26 Feb 2018.
While scouting for location for my upcoming dance photo shoot, I shot this last night. They were not shot with my #kamerainmypocket, a.k.a. my phone, but my #fujixt2. I like this #marinabay area so much, always can't get enough of it. If anyone from @marinabaysands sees this, can you change the timing of the light show to start earlier, between 7:20pm to 7:35pm, so we the photographers, can shoot during the blue hour when the sky still has a bit of color? Please. 😊😀 @ Singapore
