I had purchased an expensive variegated double red desert rose that was sick from the day that I got it. After sending in pictures of the desert rose. They told me that it was my fault (wrong pot). So... I put it in a terra cotta pot and have babied it for 5 more months. Now it has lost all of it's leaves but 3. Now, they think it may have an insect problem. Probably my fault again. They don't want to stand behind their plants. I will not be ordering anymore plants from them. See More

Amazing tropical plants in one of the most incredible greenhouses I've ever seen. It's like stepping into a rainforest! They grow rare and hybridized plant species, many of which Logee's apparently he...lped to originally cultivate. The prices are fair, and the staff is knowledgeable. They also have datasheets on almost everything they stock (so, how to care for the plant - water needs, light needs, etc.) and will happily give you printouts if you ask. If you enjoy plants or gardening, Logee's is an experience you can't miss. See More

I love Logees; they have an excellent selection of plants that have always arrived appropriately packaged and in excellent health & condition. I appreciate the growing instructions, as well as the ins...tructional videos on YouTube, but most of all I appreciate the assurance that they consistently provide top-quality, disease free plants. Very impressive side trip in our travel from New Haven to New Hampshire! We spent a couple of hours in wonder of the plantings, many species, and of course the citrus trees. We even bought several pla...nts for a house that is already bursting with plants. We'll definitely be back on our next road trip through Connecticut! See More

This place is absolutely stunning. I loved all of the little pathways and secret niches to explore. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time admiring and sniffing every flower along each path. There ar...e so many beautiful rare plants at Logee's. The plants are all in great condition and even the under sides of the plant tables are maintained. The staff is so very friendly and genuinely wanted me to be completely satisfied with my purchase. See More

Expensive plants but I don't mind. Friendly staff. Except for the last time. The last plant I bought died after 11 days. I observed that my plant don't seem to be "drinking" or absorbing water. The pe...rson who answered my email turn it around me accusing that I over watered my plant.I know what I'm doing with this kind of plant. Turn out that the plant I bought has a broken root. Got a sorry for your loss. I don't mind paying a high priced plant as long there is s customer satisfaction guarantee .

One of the owners personally reached out and made it right.

I just got back from Logees. One of my favorite places!!! If you like plants this is the place to be. Even if your not into planting it's a great place to go, the trees and plants are amazing!
I don't... know the names of a lot of the staff but if you have any questions they all seem to have a ton of knowledge and are awesome to deal with. I have spoken with Roger and Danny both are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable!!!

We are in Minnesota so have only had the opportunity to purchase online. The vines we received were in great condition and larger than I thought they would be, given that they came in a 4 inch pot. ...Highly recommend. See More

I grew up in a nearby town and never knew about these green houses… That is until this past fall. The first time I walked in there I thought I was in fairyland. There are so many plants and so many tr...ees, beautiful smelling, rich with color, the fruit trees are loaded with fruit! There are exotic plants, your day-to-day plants, but none are typical. I'm highly impressed with this place and will continue to go back as often as I can… The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Tank you so much for letting me enjoy such a beautiful place See More

I ordered 2 Chenille plants for $17.00 each plus shipping they were sad little things. Was disappointed, contacted Valerie in customer service. Was told to repot in soil without fertilizer ect. and w...ait 2 weeks, did what I was asked to do. They are still sad little plants. I've had these plants before so know what they should look like and how to care for them.
Anyway I was now told to do this and that looks like they don't truly have "customer satisfaction guarantee " learned a lesson not to mail order plants especially from here.

This place is absolutely wonderful; beautiful greenhouse, knowledgeable staff, strong healthy plants. I purchased a passionflower from here last year and it bloomed that summer. Gorgeous blossoms and ...still kicking. Went back this year to get some more varieties. There is something both soothing and incredibly exciting about seeing beautiful and delicate tropical plants :) See More

These Twisted Celosia are super weird with their flat stems and brain-shaped flowers, but super weird is kind of our thing here at Logee's. Also there's like a million of them so please come take 👍🏻 http://www.logees.com/celosia-twisted-red-celosia-cristata.html

Our grower Carl is at it again with the awesome passion flower videos. This bee is getting down to pollinating business (buzziness? 🤓) on this blooming maypop passionflower. Check out all that pollen! Watch til the very last second if you want to see a bee adorably raise its arms in triumph 🐝🌸🙌🏼✨ http://www.logees.com/maypop-passion-flower-passiflora-incarnata.html

The strange dancing leaves of the telegraph plant. Personally I think they look like little alien antennae 👽 5 min->30 secs time lapse, ps happy eclipse day all 🌓 ! http://www.logees.com/telegraph-plant-codariocalyx-motorius.html Telegraph Plant (Codariocalyx motorius) is a tropical Asian shrub grown for its novelty of movement, much like the Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica). The new leaflets move when exposed to light, sound or vibrations and the movement can be seen by the naked eye. The terminal leaflets spread out during the day and droop down at night. It’s commonly thought that the movement happens so the leaflets can utilize the absorption of light more efficiently, however, the leaves also move when exposed to high pitched sound waves. We had a tough time keeping these happy last year but I think we've got better soil and a good idea of what they prefer. They're growing like absolute weeds and dance all day long so I think they're happy 🌿💃🏼🌱🕺🏻 Video by our Grower Amelia

Camellia 'Peppermint' stopping people in their tracks on the daily out in Big House. This spectacular heirloom variety has white, formal double blooms with deep red markings on the petals. The bi-colored flowers are medium-size and open in the early to mid-season which is usually during the winter here in CT. It tends to be a slow grower so Camellia ‘Peppermint’ makes an ideal container plant.

Frosty made his way around the world (greenhouses) today saying happy holidays to all. From the sweet oranges and kumquats of Big House, to the adenium desert of Succulent House to the elephant tree forest and a brief dip into a dwarf myrtle standard. We hope everyone stayed warm and safe through that quick blizzard! ❄️ We'll be open tomorrow, hope to see you there!
