We are super excited that Paige Murney who used to work in our #LOROS Education Team is heading Down Under to fight for England in the Commonwealth Games.
Our wonderful Paige is just 23-year-old and started boxing to keep fit around seven years ago - now look at what she is going on to achieve!
She left work at LOROS last week to fully commit to the ring!
We are so proud of you Paige. Good luck with your next venture, we will be rooting for you!

National TV superstar and comedian Greg Davies has been appointed as a Patron of LOROS, following such an inspiring visit to the Hospice, he decided to mention it throughout his nationwide tour.

Did you know that we don't just offer courses for healthcare professionals?
We are also giving students (ages 16-19) who are interested in pursuing a career in health or social care, the opportunity to take part in our three day Hospice School, here at #LOROS
Funded by LOROS, the course helps students learn the basics of care for patients and their families.

Fantastic news!
We are extremely pleased to announce that #LOROS have become the first organisation in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to be awarded the SAGE & THYME accreditation, which means that we can teach both clinical and non-clinical staff members at all levels, essential communications skills to provide person-centred support to those with emotional concerns.
Our courses have been hugely successful so far, book your place now to avoid disappointment.

A big warm welcome to Rose Pasimupindu, who has this week joined the #LOROS Education Team as a Clinical Practice Educator.
Trained nurse Rose has worked at LOROS for seven years now, previously on the ward as Deputy Team Leader.
Speaking about the move, she says: "I'm really looking forward to mentoring qualified nurses and making a change, while sharing my experience and expertise of the industry."
