Harvey is 104. Irma is 92. They've been married 75 years. They've only ever seen a hurricane on TV.
For those of you in South Austin, Buda, Kyle area...
My friend Nina is from Houston and had the great idea of hosting a garage sale to help those affected by Harvey.
Our hearts are broken....
In an attempt to help, a few of us moms are gathering together to host a Garage and Bake sale this Saturday, September 2nd at 7am, here in Hometown Kyle. 100 percent of funds received will go directly to the Austin Disaster Relief Network benefiting the relief efforts of Harvey.
We will also be taking tangible donations and delivering them to those displaced in San Antonio. They are currently accepting toiletries (feminine products, soap, etc.) and diapers.
Please come out and join us! As we've seen these past few days, Texas has united as one! I've never been so proud be a Texan!! Hope to see you there, and please feel free to spread the word!

We hope to see you!
I had the pleasure of working with meteorologist Mark Murray who has vast knowledge of weather history for this area.
You will want to tune in tonight at 10 to hear what he had to say about the weather situation we currently find ourselves in.
Promise me you'll watch!
A huge hurricane, potentially historic flooding and a call from Albert Ramon - I guess it's time to get my weather cape back out!
I'll see you guys tonight & the next few days as this weather event plays out. Please stay safe and check in with us periodically.
