Facilitating Military Children School Transitions.
Did you know....California Governor Brown signed SB 455 on September 11th of this year, expanding "remote enrollment" policies to include all districts in the s...tate? Now military families with military orders to California or Arizona are able to enroll in school, pre-register in courses, and apply for special programs at the same time as their peers PRIOR to arriving to the state!!
The policy is already in effect for all districts in Arizona and in California districts with military installations within their boundaries. The expanded policy will go into effect for all districts in CA on January 1st. Please call your School Liaison for more information!
