Youth challenge. Some ex children from Boys and Girls calf club. The Lakeview Ladies from Rongotea went on to win competition. They had also lead heifer and presentation, handling. Next one had to judge heifers and then had to set up heifer and take a professional photo. Well done girls.

There are 5 teams competing this year.

They have 4 tasks to do. 1.Team to clip & prepare a yearling heifer (heifer will be provided).2.One to lead the heifer (to be judged on presentation and handling).3.One to judge (placing heifers and providing reasonings).4.Team to set up heifer for a professional photo shoot (camera, tripod and blocks provided). Judged on teamwork and resultant final photo.

They are for Children who have had a Calf,Lamb ,Diary or Garden plot for all the years at Ma...nawatu Agricultural Club. Also on the Certificate they get Stickers for how many years they have participated. They are normally given out at the end of year School assembly. If you need some for your school.
