Rod Wellman won Best of Show at the Iowa State Fair home brew competition with his Cream Ale!! A style of beer that easily exposes flaws. This is a perfect and easy drinking beer.
Rod will be assisting with brewing tasks at the brewery. We look forward to bringing this beer and many more to your hand. Congrats Rod!!

Will you be at the Iowa Craft Brew Fest this Saturday in Des Moines? Stop inside the The Iowa Taproom and cool down with us. We will start at 1pm and we will serve until we run out. We will be pouring samples of Preparation & Lost in Space Juice.
Preparation is a blonde sour fermented with our proprietary mix of wild yeast & bacteria. This Loess Hills Farmhouse series beer is conditioned on a mix of cherries, blackberries, & raspberries.
Lost in SpaceJuice is a NE IPA brewed with a mix of hops that make this beer out of this world. Rod included a generous combo of Galaxy and Comet hops. This is a must try and the debut of this beer!
