I can’t say enough about boarding our greyhound Rufus here. It was the first time we’ve boarded him, so we weren’t sure how it would go. They took excellent care of him and were very prompt in our calls when we would check in on him. The price was great and we will absolutely be recommending Mary’s to family and friends! Thank you so much! See More

We brought our dog, Titus, here to get groomed! They did an amazing job! We will be back. My 15 month old daughter loved the decor. She was very sad when we left! (I loved it too!) Thank you!

This is coming from an outside perspective... I have only worked at Mary's bed and biscuit for two weeks now. I have a lot of experience however working at vet hospitals. The timeline that mary lays o...ut is correct about the kennel cough outbreak and when she found out. When taking your beloved pet to a grooming, boarding, vet, pet store, dog park, or anywhere else there are other dogs one takes the chance that their dog can get kennel cough even if they have the vaccine. Its not a terrable virus like some of the other really truely scarey airborn viruses but still something to take very seriously. The past few days I have witnessed the staff at Mary's make phone call after phone call warning their clients until their phone dies... Recharges and its back on the phone. Countless opportunities for boarding and grooming have been lost or rescheduled for a later date. These people really care about their clients and pets. I have worked at corporations that have "covered things up" because they dont want to loose profit. Nobody could of predicted this. I volenteer groom at a major shelter every other week and couldnt go there because of an outbreak of the same thing. Its going around. Its time to support not blame. Blaming gets nothing done. The staff have been more proactive about this than I have ever seen anywhere else. Thank you mary for hiring me and its been a great opportunity even durring this outbreak. But like most virus waves it will pass and the quality of care will remain the same... Excellent. See More

Gibbs gets so excited when he's going to see Mary and Taylor. He also loves the socialization he has with the other dogs especially Coco. I am more than grateful that Marys B and B is available to us.... I no longer get knots in my stomach when I have to leave him. It's definitely his second home and family. Gibbs and I love Mary and her girls. See More

My dogs were in need of grooming in the worst way. I just didn't feel comfortable taking them to our regular place because they were always so scared when we got there. I decided to try Mary's. They d...idn't tell me my furry girl needed to be shaved like others have. They took the time to work with her and she is BEAUTIFUL!!! And they smell so good. I am now a customer for life! Thank you all so much! I won't feel bad taking them more often now. See More

I've brought my dogs to other places around Slidell, and they are ALL money hungry and arrogant!

Not Mary's! You can't go wrong here, they're the absolute best, hands down. I wouldn't dream of my fluffballs anywhere else. See More

Fantastic, I've never been in a grooming shop that's decorated mainly for the pets, that visit there. But most importantly, the attitude and the treatment of the pets by the groomers and the bather ar...e excellent. The boarding section is created strictly focusing on the pets. I was amazed to see how well it was put together for the comfort of animals. I highly recommend this business I am familiar with other clientele that visit there and they are also very impressed. Cafe' Du Bone Dog Bakery and Boutique is at Cafe' Du Bone Dog Bakery and Boutique.

CELEBRATING 8 YEARS....It is bittersweet to post this today. Nine years ago I stumbled across a precious dog bakery while on summer vacation with my family. At ...that time, I was in the process of re-entering the workforce and returning to my Tulane family as an RN in the Operating Room . I had spent 5 years being a stay home Mommy. (Best job EVER!) After visiting that shop for goodies for our baby back home, Winnie, all I could think was "How cute would it to have a unique shop like this back home in Slidell?" After TONS of research, I was ready to jump in!! There were many skeptics, including my doubt on some days, but here we are today. Through hard work and perseverance, we are now celebrating our 8 year anniversary. YEAH US!!

I say "YEAH US" because of the joint effort, encouragement and loyalty of my many family members, friends and customers that made my sweet shop a success. I'm so happy and blessed to have many of my customers, what I consider now, FAMILY and GREAT FRIENDS!

Here's the bittersweet part. I found a new home almost 5 years ago in Olde Towne Slidell. While I LOVE it here, the growth of Cafe' Du Bone has made he consider expansion. With that being said, we will be moving to out new location and reopening Tuesday, May 8 at 10am. GREAT NEW SPACE, NEW HOURS and a NEW SERVICE!!

I am over the moon excited about this new chapter!! We will still offer the same great products and service as always but MORE! We are introducing "The Watering Hole" at Cafe' Du Bone! This will be a Self Service Pet Wash designed for bathing your pet without the back-breaking hassle of trying to do it at home. Our state-of-the-art wash room and elevated tub makes bathing your pet easy! The tub also has a ramp to allow your pet to walk into the tub without being lifted. You bring your pet, we provide everything you need to wash, dry and PRIMP your pet!! And we clean up the mess! It can't get any better than that!

Thank You again to all for allowing us to serve you! We look forward to many MORE years of providing top notch service to you and your pets.

STAY TUNED for updates and info on this new venture!
Cafe Du Bone will remain OPEN at the current location, same hours in Olde Towne Slidell. Closed the first week of May and will reopen Tues., May 8, 10a-6p.

Spoke with a client just today whose dog was attacked by a coyote here in Slidell!

Team Indiana

TIP: The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone. The coyote gets your dog to chase him and then somewhere in the dis...tance the pack waits for your dog. Then the outcome is tragic as they can & will attack/kill your pets. Just be aware it can happen to your beloved pet. {Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season.}

This past Saturday we did an adoption event at the dealership with the Picayune SPCA. This little guy was left unadopted. So I asked one of the ladies to send... some pics and info about him. She sent this to me. If you or any one you know is interest in this little guy let me know.

Meet Billy Bob (he has a bobbed tail). He is about 18 months old and is a lab mix. He came to us as a stray in the middle of June and is one of our longest term residents at the Shelter. He tested positive for Heartworms and has been thru the modified treatment. Staying on Heartgard Plus should have him cleared up in 1-2 years. He is very playful and does well with others (people and dogs). He would love to be taken out for a ride or walk any day we are open at the Shelter or maybe even do a sleepover at your house. He does need a property that will give him a place to roam but secure, Billy Bob would make a wonderful companion otherwise if given the chance!
