On 12/15/2017 at 7:00 P.M. at May Mei Garden restaurant I was treated with the utmost disrespect. I placed an order for pickup under the name Tim. I spoke with an employee on the phone for an order of... 2 big plates of orange chicken, 2 noodles lo mein (the employee did inform me there was an upcharge), an order of sweet and sour chicken, and a thing of fried rice. The employee rang all of this up, and I asked him for the exact amount of the meal. The exact amount came out to 29.03 by his word confirmed twice. I went to this restaurant with my family, and my pet in the car, and come to find out the person misquoted me the cashier wanted 34.00, 4.97 more than quoted (which is a heck of a lot more for an upcharge of noodles anyways). I informed the cashier quietly that I did not have the money, and would have to drive home to collect it 20 minutes away on a Friday December night. Instead of taking care of this issue I was berated by both a female, and a male employee who both asked me if I had a credit card. After being embarrassed inside of their restaurant. I said let me check my car to see if I had any change. No luck so I went back inside of their restaurant. The employees hassled me some more. The employees even admitted to quoting me the wrong price, and wanted me to drive back to my house 20 minutes away instead of resolving the issue, and I was being personable. A person inside of the restaurant seen this happen, and they went ahead and in the Christmas Spirit paid the difference. Instead of telling her the exact difference which was 4 dollars and change the man misquoted the price a third time, and told the woman 5 dollars. She did not argue and placed the money on the table. I gave the change that I had to the woman, and thanked her and her husband repeatedly feeling ashamed, because I do not ask for money from people. Instead of causing a scene I drove home having to explain what happened to my family. This whole experience was embarrassing. So I called back in that way I would not make a scene. This was all over 5 dollars. The man over the phone admitted to misquoting me the wrong price, and would not do anything about it. This was the same guy. He told me his owner was in the back. I asked to speak to him, and tried to resolve the issue. The man did not care. He instead tried to inform me of how the situation was, and said he couldn’t do anything about it. I did not ask for much just to make sure a previous customer someone who has ordered there before was satisfied. He said oh well he couldn’t do anything about it. So I informed him that I was a food manager, and have certifications, and would report this on all review pages, as well as to the food inspectors, and he said go for it. I will provide photos below of my certifications, as well as follow up with what I have said. I hope the place is ready for an inspection, and I could question their cleanliness when I walked inside of the place. To sum this up. I will never give this place my business again, you should never give your place this business, and think twice if you choose to disregard my message. See More

I ordered the Hunan Chicken combination place. Theyforgot to give me the egg roll that goes with it, so I can't tell you how they are. The fried rice was bland. I must say that the Hunan Chicken was awesome
