Folks going to the district concert at Medina High School tonight:

PLEASE consider bringing your laptops/tablets/smart phones and vote while you save your seat in the auditorium. Wi-fi access instructions will be provided at your request at the concert so you won't have to worry about using your phone's data!

ALSO: the high school computer lab (room 101) will be open for anyone who wants to vote. Drop off your kids, drop your coat in your seat and vote in the lab till the co...ncert starts. Or tag team - have hubby hold the seats while momma votes! We can do this!
I just don't want our voting to grind to a hault tonight! I am so looking forward to the concert but I also want to win this for these little ones! Thanks everyone! Mustang supporters are the best!!!!!!

We made some real gains, yesterday. Pinehurst turns out to be night owls. They had 2 super high voting hours. Our kids do a great job at voting so there is still hope if everyone who can, gets on and votes as much as they can, all day. Contest ends at 8, today! Please VOTE VOTE VOTE !!

Sorry to say we lost a lot of ground, this weekend. Pinehurst was voting steady and beating our vote count by 1000 to 2000 each hour. Then to top it all off, after getting some of that back, last night, They had an hour with over 16,000 votes!

Today's word is RAIN.

Getting desperate, here. The kids have been cranking out tremendous numbers of votes, throughout the day but as soon as school lets out, it looks like 1 or 2 max people voting at any given hour and we lose all the ground they worked so hard for as Pinehurst doubles or more our score from then on.

The only thing I can come up with that might help get parents and relatives to commit to vote at least 100 votes per day until it is done is a telephone tree. ...Posting here is too easy to ignore without a commitment. Speaking to someone who can express what this will mean for the kids will help motivate more to get in here and vote.

If you know anyone's phone number who has a kid in Oak Orchard, please call them and ask them to vote. Ask them to call THEIR friends and family and have them vote.

Have them go to the Medina Central School PTSA Facebook Page and get instructions, if need be. It would be good for them to know about their Facebook page!

5) Pick Your School - OAK ORCHARD
6) Type in Today's Weather Word - COOLER
7) click in the box under the Security Code and type in the number you see
8) Press you ENTER KEY or click on SUBMIT
9) When the next screen pops up, CLICK on HERE in the line that says "CLICK HERE TO VOTE AGAIN"
10) Everything but the new number will already be filled in so just click in the box below the new Security Code and type in the new number and press ENTER again.
11) TIP: If you carefully place your mouse at the bottom of the HERE, it will already be lined up with the box to type in the number on the next screen. If you are finding that you have to scroll down to get to these things, press the CTRL key and - (MINUS) keys at same time and you should see things get smaller so you don't have to scroll, any more. Pressing CTRL + will bring things back to where they were.

That's all there is to it! You should be able to crank out 100 votes in a short time, The more, the better. We had the lead in this contest until Thursday, but Pinehurst parents are really working for their kids and passed us. Let's show them that Medina parents and friends care about our kids as well! Remember, spread the word by phone to as many as you can and get them to commit to VOTE A LOT! I don't want to be the only one voting at any time, all weekend! It feels so good to see the count going up by 10 or more between each vote and hourly totals above 10,000 votes! That is what we need to WIN!

OK, here we go again !!! The last time, we came in 4th. They awarded the top 2 schools a visit and in the second chance drawing, they drew the 5th place school.

This round starts over with the top 2 schools out of the picture and the only school that was above us was not that far ahead so we have a great chance! We need a good start and lots of consistent volume voters! SPREAD THE WORD, NOW!! The contest starts TUESDAY 3/1/2016! Check back here for the word of the day, if you don't want to watch the video. LETS DO IT THIS TIME !!

This page is not kept updated, much, any more. Please go to the Medina Mustang Marching Band Group, below and join for the most up to date info about the band. Thank you.
