Congratulations to the SC Men's Rugby program on a great 65-0 shut out win over Florida. Very proud of our team's performance today with a dominant total team victory. Excellent defense and great ball movement kept them on the front foot all day.

Several outstanding players today, and, frankly, I could give out 23 man of match honors. With that said, I would like to congratulate Captain Micah Stewart in the forwards with 3 tries, numerous poaches, and great defense from his ...flanker position and Mac Stiles in the backs, playing at 10 today, with great strategic kicking to set up several scores, running the back line offense against Florida, and for netting a try of his own.

Also a solid B-side win over Florida's 2nd side with the help of several of our reserve players. The 2nd side had several standout players and it was good to see them get valuable time playing in a real match. We had several freshmen play some outstanding rugby today. The future looks bright for Gamecock Rugby.
