Easily one of the best spots for beer in DC. Not only is the beer program well run but they are pros at HOW the beer is served, presented, and incorporated into the dining experience there. Cask beer ...is always a plus as well! Also they carry beer from UNION Craft all the time, those guys at UCB really know how to brew, yo. See More

I live in Woodbridge, VA and went for the Firestone Walker tap takeover last night. I like the place and will go back. Great neighborhood vibe but different upstairs and down. Downstairs has a pool ta...ble and pinball/arcade machines in addition to another bar. The food I had was good and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for a place in Columbia Heights this is a great one. If you have kids they eat free on Tuesday. I live 40 miles away and I am going back! See More

This place is great. The food is fantastic, wait staff are attentive and knowledgable and beer selection is fantastic. If you are into craft beer and like good food plus a good atmosphere. Please go here.

Favorite spot in the city. You won't find a restaurant that cares more about their beer, and that caring spills over into the food and service.

First and last time I go to this place. I chose it because KidFriendlyDC recommended it as a good place to catch a World Cup match with kids. I asked the hostess for a table to watch a game and she ga...ve me a table where the view was blocked by a column. I asked for another table; the three empty tables in front of me were reserved according to her, but remained empty during the whole time I was there. The manager repeated the same thing and gave me a "tough luck" look - the place wasn't even packed. Is this what hip restaurants in DC are supposed to be? A bad and indifferent attitude and despondent staff? Not even because I was with my kid did any of the three staff I dealt with (hostess, server, manager) even try to help. I went to Haydee's instead and the servers there got the tip that the unhelpful staff at Meridian Pint forfeited because of their wanker attitude. See More

we've never had a bad experience here!
great for families who want an early dinner, NFL fans on gameday, vegans dining with non-vegans... all this and a tap menu that's printed almost daily w/ new beers.

Excellent beer list that focuses on local offerings, good food and attentive service, even when it's busy. Whenever I have a friend over its my first choice to get a drink in the neighborhood

The food is good. The beer list is great. I really think this is a great place for a causal meal. I miss the outdoor seating since they have a lot and it's nice. I will be back again soon.

Great corner bar that supports the local and regional craft brew scene. Hit the basement and grab a pint or four. Nicely located 3 blocks from Metro (Georgia Petworth).

Very warm and inviting mid-grade pub. The beers are changing very frequently with occasional tap takeovers. Consistent and friendly staff make all the difference. Great pub!

Great time, great food. Add a few more desserts (1-2 more vegan also, please) and hot coffee/tea/chai w/non-dairy options and "Perfectamundo!" I know Sticky Fingers is near but believe me, my friend a...nd I and most people would prefer to stay put for a leisurely dessert and coffee. As a vegan, I'm grateful for Sticky Fingers' presence but I've had better bakery items/desserts. Plus, on weekends it gets crowded with long lines and wait times. See More

Talking Backwards Triple IPA
Wednesday, January 31st – 5pm

It’s back – The yearly release of our massive Triple IPA collaboration with Ocelot, Talking Backwards! Fans of this beer will remember it fondly from the past two years and this year’s version is more of the same with only a couple minor tweaks.

...

Talking Backwards 2018 clocks in around 11% and features mountains of Simcoe, CItra, and Mosaic hops. We utilized lupulin pellets this year, which deliver all of the bright citrusy, tropical goodness with less green character.

In addition, we’ll also be pouring:
Sunnyside Dweller Keller Pilsner
Simple Pleasures IPA
Powers of Observation Baltic Porter
