We are excited to announce that practices have started back up! This week we will be practicing on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15. We will be meeting at the indoor soccer field in the rec center! Hope to see everyone there!
This is the first practice for the Middle Tennessee Hurling Club in the Fall semester of 2017.
All players over 18 are welcome, whether you have been playing all your life or you have never seen the sport before.
A coach from the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club will be there to help guide practice and work with those who need a little extra help.
The practice will mostly focus on the development of new skills and gaining a basic understanding of the sport.
The location will be at MTSU. Specific field being used will be determined and posted in the future.
Hi everyone! My name is Chase and the way it's looking right now I'll be taking charge of the hurling club in the 2017 fall semester. My main focus the first semester will be to build up team numbers and skill. Then we will try to start travelling and find other clubs and colleges to play against in the spring. As of right now I am lucky enough to be playing with the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club. More posts to come in the future.
Not too late to join the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club fall league! Come join us in playing Gaelic games and enjoying frosty beverages every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday! Look up the NGAC or message for more details!
University of Colorado/Regis University will travel to Nashville for a friendly tournament on March 19. The games will be held at Heartland. Please come out to play co-ed hurling and maybe even a Gaelic football match. We plan to invite other schools and clubs to participate, so let’s make a big Nashville/MTSU showing.
Enjoy the second day of school being closed! When the weather warms up, expect the wolfhounds to come out! If anyone who has recently liked the page would like more info, please feel free to comment.
The MTSU Wolfhounds would like to thank the Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club for reaching out to us and including us in the Middle Tennessee Highland Games.
We cannot wait until next years games, as we will be back with greater numbers!
Wolfhounds! Please respond by Thursday!
I am looking for volunteers and patrons for the Highland Games. Please comment what you can make.
Friday: I need volunteers setting up tents from 8:30a-6:30p. Come out when you can. Any time given will be much appreciated....
Saturday: Gates open at 8:30a, and I would like club members to arrive at 9:30a to help recruit and train. I will be there early. We will need volunteers throughout the day to either stay at the booth and talk up the sport we have all grown to love, and to help take down tents in the evening. They are also looking for volunteers to take tickets.
Please let me know what you can do. Showing up on Saturday is first priority, but volunteering to help would leave a great impression, and help us for next year.
