Lotte is a 6-8 month old female kitten. She came in to the shelter as part of a feral colony. Due to her birth defect, life as a feral would no longer be an option for her. Lotte has been in foster care for 2 months to help tame her. Although she is not completely social yet, she is available for adoption. Lotte's limitations make an inside only lifestyle mandatory, and she will need a quiet and patient household to help her continue the progress she's already made. If you are interested in adopting Lotte, please call the shelter at 541-7387 to schedule a time to meet her.

Simba is so excited to find a forever home! His wish list includes a large enough yard to run in (bonus points for being filled with snow!), plenty of tennis balls to fetch, and someone to play with and give lots of hugs. Who ever his adopters are, we know they'll think they hit the jackpot with such a great dog!

Come meet Our Pet of the Week ~ Kota!

Kota is a 2 year old male American Bulldog mix. This big, goofy boy has a lot of love to give and is always searching for affection! He enjoys chasing tennis balls, but hasn't quite figured out the idea of retrieving them. He is very treat motivated and knows how to sit, lay down, and search for all the stray bits of kibble. Kota is hoping to find himself in a fun-loving and active family. He'd do best in a cat free home.

Come Meet Our Pet of the Week ~ Graham!!!

Graham is a 4 year old male long-haired orange tabby. He is a very sweet and loving boy that would make a great lap cat. We love the way Graham likes to investigate his environment like a super sleuth. He can seem a bit timid and skittish at first, but his curiosity is definitely stronger than any fear. He also prefers to lay under his bed, rather than on top. Graham gets along well with other cats, especially snuggly cats. However, he would do best in a dog-free home as they are just too scary.

The shelter will be closed today for Presidents' Day.

Congratulations to Alouishious! This little boy saved up all his allowance to adopt a cat. When he emptied his piggy bank, his parents decided to take him down to the shelter and look at kitties. This laid back love bug was just the ticket! Congrats Alouishious and your new best buddy!

Spike was the luckiest dog in the shelter today! He was scooped up by a very loving dog mom who has worked with many shelter and rescue pets over the years. He will be showered with love and affection, and have a whole pack of new dogs to play with! Congrats, Spike!
