This exciting new class will focus on 18th Century hinge design and explore the different aspects of hinge development. Students will produce one set of German style strap hinges. Tooling, tongs and filing will be discussed. This will be a great class for intermediate blacksmiths, forging history with practical skills. Some tools required and some experience necessary.

Montgomery Community College Bladesmithing Program added 4 new photos.

We love these photos from Matt Mutarelli who made these knives in Ed Vanhoys Beginning Bladesmithing class this past Fall semester.
Matt is an instructor in the Gunsmithing program here at MCC!

For all the potters out there, just a few days left to apply for this show NCECA coming up in March!
