With the ending of MORT University and the start of build season, we have our first MORT in Minutes and Beta in a Bit combined with footage from the NJ FLL State Championship event we hosted in December! The first day of build season is underway, team members break into small groups to discuss prototypes and strategies for #FRCSteamworks MORT is back in full swinging action with high hopes for the new year!
Despite the snowy weather, things with MORT got pretty steamy today. With the release of #FRCSteamworks, students and mentors have shifted into high gear with the end goal of a successful 2017 season! We're excited for what lies ahead on this exciting journey. Good Luck and Happy Build Season to all teams both MAR and far!
Tonight the team convenes to discuss relationships among teammates as well as among district/regional competitors. We look forward to Saturday's Game Drop event at 10 AM in the MOHS PAC! Feel free to join us as family and friends to see FRC Steamworks be unveiled!

Tonight, MORT gathered for a team-wide safety briefing to conclude MORT University and review important shop procedures before our fast-paced build season. We commend our Safety Subteam for putting in relentless effort in bettering the safety of MORT 11 and for inviting our wonderful guest, Mr. Steve Sluka to our school for this informative meeting. Onward to build season!
MORT student volunteers are working hard to ensure fun competition for all at this year's New Jersey State FLL Championship. It's not too late to join the fun! Stop by The Mount Olive High School gymnasium to see hundreds of students' hard work pay off! Good luck to everyone competing, and HAVE FUN!!
MORT will be hosting the FLL State Championship event this Saturday, December 10th at The Mount Olive High School at 1:00 pm and you're all cordially invited! As hosts, we are preparing for all of the friendly FIRST faces that will be joining us, and hopefully some new faces as well! Get excited, this event is shaping up be a good one!
