First time camping at Mountain Breeze. Wonderful Trip!!! Jennifer and staff were went above and beyond to assist in answering questions when booking and when we arrived. Grounds are maintained. Bonus ...they kept the restrooms in order. Hot showers. We will be back soon. See More

Camped out this weekend and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The property is very well maintained and we can't wait to come back in the summer to float with the family.

The nicest staff around! We stopped in as we were sight seeing. Decided to see if we could rent a cabin. Place was open, staff on site. Cabin was great. Loved it!

We loved staying here. Very quiet and remote, beautiful terrain, close access to the river. I will definitely come back 🙂

Amazing how staff allows bullies to beat down a hard working young man and then not even offer to call 911 for someone who was knocked unconscious with a broken jaw and blood running down his face. Th...en once the aggressors are pointed out you still do nothing. That's a pity that the world has come to this. I would never recommend this place if that's how staff reacts to an obvious bad situation. See More

My friends son who is a really great young man is in the hospital with a broken jaw and was beaten unconscious while camping at this place. He went to the office and they did not help him or even call... law enforcement. When he went back to get his gear he was assaulted again. This is a dangerous place!! See More

Love this place and what they offer. It's been our spot for river trips the last 7 years. Spot is great, atmosphere, music, amenities, all good. Larger bath house and more restrooms would make it a... 5. But, otherwise, is great. See More

My son Colton Deaeth was in the hospital today having his jaw wired shut because he and a friend went camping at Mountain Breeze Campground in New Braunfels, TX and got jumped, f...or no reason. If that's not shocking enough I want you to know that after he got up from being knocked out and stomped he saw people around and nobody did anything. In addition he went to the front desk which was in walking distance from where it happened with blood dripping from his face and they said they'd get rid of the guys who did that. He pointed to them and nothing was done. My son went back to his camp site to get his stuff and the same guys were walking toward him and his friend. He jumped in his jeep and left, leaving his stuff behind. If you know Colton you'll know he is not a fighter and he doesn't start trouble, ever! This happened on July 11 at around 6pm. I want you to know this so you'll know not to go to this campground and don't let your kids go. They didn't help my son and they didn't kick the culprits out. Is it the knock out game? Bullies? I don't know but the story needs to be told. Please Like and share so this stays high in people's news feed and more people know to stay away from Mountain Breeze Campground
Since I posted this the first time the owner messaged me and said he offered my son an ambulance and police support. That is a lie! The boys asked the staff at the desk to get their stuff so they could leave and the person there (could be the owner) said they wouldn't know what stuff was their so he couldn't. He promised they'd escort the aggressors off the property but when my son went to get his stuff the same grown men were there! They left and left their stuff there, called the sheriff's dept and were told not to return for their safety! They called me and I said the same thing. We can replace stuff but we cannot replace my son! Please share so people will know NOT to go to this campground. There is no check in and no accountability. Just pay your fee and post your tent in a field.

This is a dangerous camp ground. They allow bullies to beat up innocent campers and do nothing to stop them. Do not go here. This happened July 11 to my son in walking distance of the office and nobod...y helped as my son was stomped and left for dead. See More

One of the safest campgrounds I've been too. They have a police presence on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. And 911 is a phone call away. But when both parties refuse to bring in the police........I've been here with family and friends and never ever seen problems. I don't think saying its a horrible place because one person got hurt and didn't call the police is unfair, and to get all their friends to say bad things who weren't even there is wrong. There are always two sides to a story. See More

Amazing campground and even more amazing staff! They have always helped me out when I have forgotten something or just needed to hang out and chat. Been visiting there over 25 years and I always have a blast!

These people don't care what happens to their patrons. My son was knocked out for no reason and when he went to the front desk for help they did nothing to help him. My son pointed out the guys who di...d it and was promised that they would escort them off the property. He asked if someone would help him get his stuff but was told no. He went on his own after waiting a while in the front desk (with out as much as an ice pack being offered to him after being knocked out cold and having his jaw broke) then when he went to get his stuff the same guys went after him again and he jumped in his vehicle and left without his tent and camping gear. We're thankful he's alive. The owners couldn't have cared less about what was going on there. See More

Good times and Great memories!! This adventure was amazing and it left me with a natural adrenaline high for years to come. Certainly a different respect of a river's majestic and grand power! I went ...rafting down the Guadalupe river with my guide Aaron. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the Guadalupe. It took a few hours on June 13, 2015 this was well worth the trip. I am so glad I didn't miss out thanks to Joseph for announcing this on Facebook. I definitely want to thank the staff of Mountain Breeze who were on that 4 pm tour asking me how it went with hugs and high fives! The staff are extremely nice. I will definitely return in the future to make many more memories! Eternally grateful Aaron, you are AWESOME!

The Deaeth family are good, non violent people. Read the comments below that state the situation that occurred to their son. I can promise you that he did nothing to provoke being jumped! Nothing was to the assailants? I wouldn't go to this campground unarmed! See More

I've been camping all around the country since I was a child with my family and scouts and I would highly recommend this campground! It's a very fun safe place. It's my favorite place to camp in all o...f Texas and I'm a Florida Boy. If you have a family it's great, there is security there on the weekends and they go out of their way to make you feel safe. What a low life place with sorry ass management to allow a man to be jumped and beaten up and fail to render aid and assistance and then refuse to let them get their stuff and leave AND refuse to ...escort the offenders off the property or have the law do it . Plenty of other places to stay at besides this sewer pit Im thinking See More
