Josh and Gina are incredible race directors and even better people! They truly care about this community and want as many people as possible to experience the joy they get from trail running so they p...our their hearts into making their races the best in the area!! And they succeed with flying colors! Their races are consistently well supported, the people are amazing, and they always have the best post-race food and drinks around (chocolate chip pumpkin bread and chocolate milk)! I would recommend one of their races to anyone and everyone who wants to run the trails around Roanoke! See More

I always have a great time running with Mountain Junkies. Even when I don't run well. If I don't make my time goals, I still have a great experience. Josh and Gina do a great job organizing races an...d motivating runners. They are always prepared to support the runners with everything that they need. It truly shows that they pour their heart and soul into each and every event that they host or support. I recommend a Mountain Junkies event to anyone who wants to meet great people, learn and grow as a runner, and experience the joy or trail running.

I've been running Mountain Junkies races for over 3 years and have enjoyed every one of them. The courses are beautiful and challenging, the post-race food is the best (especially the chocolate chip ...pumpkin bread), and the community is very welcoming and supportive. Josh and Gina are the best race directors ever! See More

These races couldn't be more fun--beautiful trails, great people, and terrific post-race parties. Race days are smooth by any measure, but especially when consider all of the variables associated with... trail events. Overall, just a top-notch organization. See More

Of all the road and trail races I've done, Mountain Junkies events are the best by far! Amazing RD, challenging but beautiful courses, and homemade post-race pumpkin bread. Love their races!

Mountain Junkies are the absolute best race directors I've known. The races are well planned, courses are well marked, post-race celebrations are the best and the medals are wonderful.
