After almost ten years of research and activism, I’m proud to (finally) announce the prerelease of my new literary work, The New Human Rights Movement....
Published by BenBella Books, this text gives a detailed analysis of the oppressive and unsustainable state of affairs we endure today. More importantly, it proposes the critical steps needed to change course before ecological and social instability become irreversible. At about 120,000 words, including over 800 sources/footnotes, the thoroughness of this work is extensive.
I ask those interested to please preorder this important book now. While the release is still months away, your preorder will help the work’s promotional metrics, leading to a stronger release and more media attention. Given the deep saturation of the book market today, this work really needs your support if we hope to see these perspectives and ideas ever engaged in the mainstream. Helping to make this work a “bestseller” will force the conversation.
Needless to say, truly focused and open-minded discussions regarding how to resolve our growing ecological and social crises are scarce to be found in mainstream dialog. The world is steadily inching into more extreme and stressed positions. While America, the cultural leader of the world, wrestles with arguably the most disliked presidential candidates in history, the public/mainstream dialogue continues to ignore the true global state of social injustice, poverty, socioeconomic inequality, environmental disregard and other critical attributes that ultimately underscore what we experience in terms of our civil or human rights.
It is time this pattern is broken. We need a new conversation and this text is my current life’s work to help. I thank you in advance for your support.
And for those who are also still awaiting my long overdue feature film trilogy, InterReflections, please note that this book has been in parallel development, effectively serving as the academic foundation for what is a more abstract film narrative. Thanks for the support. Also, the website is under construction a bit, but a free chapter will be posted soon.
