Good Morning Saints!
For those who missed Sunday's message, here is what Pastor Page preached on. The Sermon was entitled "The Power of With" from Mark 3:13-18.

To begin we learned that the preposition "with" is used to show the relationship between a noun/pronoun with the subject of a sentence, and is a word that does not stand alone. But it needs to connect the noun and subject and put them into relationship. Pastor made the point, that there isn't necessarily power in ...the word "with" until it has connected the noun and subject to form a relationship. Therefore the power is in the connection! Pastor related this and helped us see that who we are connected "with" has the potential to impact us positivly or negatively. He helped us to see, that who are and who we desire to be, have a correlation with who we are in relationships with and how we treat them. Our relationships then can help us our hinder us.

From the text (Mark 3:13-18) we discovered that Jesus chose the 12 disciples to be "with him" Earlier in the chapter Jesus went to the synaggouge and ministered to a man with a shrivled hand on the Sabbath. The Pharisees who were present did not like Jesus healing this man on the Sabbath. They took offense at this act, and began to plot to kill him. Until now Jesus had not selected disciples. Afterwards, a large crowd gathered and followed Jesus. But he still had not selected anyone to "be with him". By the time we get to verse 13, He withdrew himself and selected the 12 to be with him.

We learned that these 12 men/relationships did at least 3 things for Jesus:
1. They covered Him in ministry. Remember there were some who plotted against him. These 12 disciples became Jesus' friends. They looked out for Him. They fellowshiped with Him, They shared intimate moments. They built trust together
2. They also shared in His ministry. They helped him reach and serve people. They provided extra hands and resources. As the crowds gathered, Jesus had help
3. Jesus need others to share in His Vision. These 12 men shared the Heart of Jesus ministry. They bought into his vision and helped carry it
We can conclude that Jesus relationship with the 12 helped Him.

What can we glean?
1. Who we are connected with can HELP YOU or HINDER YOU. Are your connections/relationships helping you fulfil your purpose? Or are they hindering you? setting you back?
2. Can you trust your connections with your purpose/assignment?
3. Jesus invites us to be with HIM, in turns He promises to be with US! (Matthew 28:20) "And Surely I will be with You, to the very end of Age". Once we have surrerendered our lives to Jesus, are adopted into a new family. We will never be isolated or alone.

These are just some snippets of Pastor Pages sermon. Come out next week, as He walks us through scriptures and teaches on "How to Develop Kingdom Relationships". You will indeed walk away blessed and fed!!!!
