Neither my husband nor I are vegan or vegetarian and we love this restaurant! We used to live in Montclair and we are so happy this restaurant is doing well. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. You will not be disappointed.

I am an omnivore and was very impressed with the respect and love given to all the vegetables we had during our meal. The food was well prepared and seasoned. My favorite was the cashew cheese and lasagna! And the BROWNIE!!!! Keep up the good work!

My non-vegan boyfriend and I love Mundo Vegan! On different visits we have had the three bean chorizo chili, the organic black eyed pea stew, the Massitas, the ...hummus, an amazing banana blueberry crumb cake with rice whipped "cream," and more. The food is consistently delicious, with great flavor and spice. The atmosphere and service match. BYOB with wine shop a few doors down. Found this little treasure on Happy cow driving from Connecticut to PA. Totally worth the 30 minute off our route home. Food was amazing! We will definitely go back!!

I went here, because my friend lives the vegan lifestyle and we were celebrating her birthday. I read some reviews online which recommended the massitas and it ...was an absolutely delicious meal! I also ate the corn chowder and the lemon quesadilla and everything had amazing flavour!
Everything is made fresh to order. Their coffee is so good, I will go out of my way to drop in to get a coffee to go if need be.

The staff are friendly and extremely efficient. I never felt like I was being ignored. They picked up on the fact that it was my friend's birthday and brought her dessert out with a candle without having been asked!
I'm a meat-eater, but I could happily eat here again and again and will definitely be adding Mundo Vegan to my list of "must take my other friends to this restaurant"! عرض المزيد

What a pleasant surprise. My husband and I went here this evening for dinner before food shopping. I had the cheese platter appetizer while he had the veg soup ...followed by the mushroom appetizer. Main dish and desert all good, service was spectacular, prices were good, food quality was outstanding, all organic and gluten free. I don't eat soy and they easily accommodated me. The absolute best vegan restaurant I have ever been too. I had the bbq sietan sandwich with the brownie. OH my gosh there are zero words. Delicious delicious de...licious. I personally do NOT eat meat, but ANYONE would eat and love this sandwhich/food! Thank you so much for the amazing service and amazing food! I had dinner there for my birthday tonight and Hasan was so sweet and the food was everything I coul...d've wished for. My non-vegan husband even enjoyed every bite. We had the Mac and Cheez, picadillo, lasagna, and brownie and lemon quesadilla for dessert. i was so disappointed about the food in this place. the portions (especially the protein portions were minuscule) my meal was a giant plate of white rice not ev...en cooked properly. my black eyes peas tasted like they were thrown into some campbell's vegetable soup...this entree cost $16! the only thing good i can say is that the cheese plate was nice as was the gluten free bread. i was quite embarrassed taking my friend there who didn't even get a quarter cup of beans with his entree. do not waste your time or money, the food tastes pre-packaged and not fresh, nor does it has the amount of protein we need for our diet. true vegans please skip this place. the service was excelllent but the food was far from it. عرض المزيد

OMG...I don't even know where to begin. We literally just left Mundo Vegan. Upon arrival my husband was hesitant about eating strictly "vegan" food. But he en...ded up being very satisfied! We are not vegans nor vegetarians (yet) and the food was absolutely delicious! My daughter loved the lasagna and sweet potatoe pie, my husband enjoyed his Black Eyed Pea Stew, their mac and cheese was also good. Their appetizer - Homemade Organic Cashew Cheez Platter was VERY enjoyable.
The STAFF was pleasant, friendly and the chef came out and engaged us in conversation. Our waiter was very nice and made great suggestions. I will be back... The atmosphere was cozy. I highly recommend Mundo Vegan!!! #organic #GMOfree عرض المزيد

This place is amazing!!! The food was delicious from start to finish! The portions were satisfying and the staff and chefs where so inviting and warm. I am so excited for all of the new foods they will be adding to the menu. Vegan with a latin twist!! Amazing!! Huge fan!!!!

Misha is waiting for her perfect home to come along. This beautiful girl was abandoned at a local park, and thanks to the wonderful people at Mundo Vegan, she m...ade her way to Cameron Animal Hospital, rather than remaining out in the cold.
Misha is approximately 8-10 months old, and is a doll. She's great with kids, and is good with other cats. (The jury is still out on dogs, but a test is pending.) She loves to play, but equally loves attention and cuddling.
