I've entered my car in this show 11 years, starting with Mustangs at the Queen Mary. This year I parked my car onsite the night before the show then stayed at the hotel.
It was a great show as always ...with great cars and great people.
However there was a few minor issues this year. When we walked to the show site we thought the driver meeting was at 9:00 (started around 10:00, not a problem), but since they moved the club booth to a different place this year we had to ask a few volunteers where to go, and once we found the spot we were okay.
As for the award ceremony, this year they used a random order instead of the usual starting with earlier (lower classes) then working up to newer classes like they used to do. It was a little confusing but we figured it out.
Other then that it was a great show and we look forward to next year.

This was the first time that I was able to attend the Ponies at the Pike show. I have not been able to attend the last two years due to work and other things that came up, however, the show was great.... Loved the variety of the Mustang years, especially all the classics!! The location is prime, love the water front, love parking on the lawn, (makes cars look lower) and the organization of the show was great. It was nice to drive our cars to various locations after show
Around the Pike to take some photos. A couple of cons, but nothing to crazy, I didn't realize that it was a people's choice award, I personally don't like PC awards, because mostly it becomes a popularity contest, (I mean I think a couple people won an award and their vehicle wasn't even there) however, I don't go for trophies, I go for the people and the cars. Met some really cool people with really nice builds! Thank you BCMC for making my first Ponies at the Pike experience a good one, can't wait for next year!

Don't waste your time. I went last yr for the 1st time and was really looking forward to it. I went with my dad who had a brand new mustang at the time. We weren't even there a hour and my dad's perfe...ct new beautiful car got hit while parked. The grass was wet that morning and they made the brand new mustangs park slanted and only a walk way away from the water. Plus the guy who puts it on was more worried about making money than putting on a car show. In my opinion it wasn't really a car show. You go to a car show to see the cars. Last yr the ppl who entered had to judge so we spent more time looking for the cars to judge them than actually walking around enjoying the cars. It was a waste of time and we won't be attending again. The location needs to be changed to somewhere that's all flat so all cars will be safe and have no chance of getting hit. For many of the cars these shows are the only time they are driven or go out. There should be NO CHANCE of them getting hit, dinged or scratched in any way. Please think twice before signing your car up for this particular show. See More

Made the drive down from Portland for the first time. Glad we did, as it was a great show. We parked the night before and talked to lots of great people. The volunteers were awesome! Alan, Jeff, a big... thank you to both of you. Jon, you and your volunteers put on a great show! Thank you. ❤️ See More

We came as a "Day of Show" anticipant with my 1971 Convertible 351C - a spontaneous decision since we heard about the show for the first time two days earlier. Although the "DOS" fee of $65 felt alrea...dy somewhat like punishment, we were excited about the things to come.
We ended up in a spot so close to the regular parking that we could hardly tell the difference - but okay, as "DOS" maybe I shouldn't really complain. But the staff appeared stressed, things seem not to work out in their organization, and we had been rudely sent away with our chairs even twice when they tried to make room for the Lincoln Continental Group, and questions about the event procedures in general weren't answered at all.

We felt not very welcomed at all (which hardly ever happened to me at ANY sort of car show before), ended up strolling over the beautiful campus by ourselves (the location is indeed awesome) but as soon as the driver meeting announced we could leave right now or after 4 pm but not in between, we finally decided to leave. With no chance of a regular award (mine was one of three '71-'73 Mustangs of 450 (!) cars and the only convertible), feeling not appreciated as newbies to the event and not getting anything back in return for a $65 fee either, we decided to leave.
We're deeply disappointed. In 25 years of active classic car hobby all over the world, this was surely one of the most overrated events we ever joined.

Hopefully, this is just an exemption, but I'm not sure if we feel motivated enough to give it a second try.

I can't attend local shows as I work nights and on weekends so my show attendance is usually out of state using vacation time. This was my first time at this event. Being from Las Vegas, I love the So...Cal beach areas. The fact this location is in a beautiful park surrounded by wonderful scenery, you can't go wrong. Just wish Mother Nature was kinder yesterday as it was about 92 degrees with very few breezes to cool you off...hotter than it was at home. And of course, getting to see so many beautiful ponies all in the same place...pure heaven. :-) See More

This was my 3rd year going to this show, my first was when it was Muatangs By The Bay. I love this show! It was my 2nd time actually participating! Can't beat the new location, right across the street... from the mall and the aquarium! And SO. MANY. CARS!! It's honestly like heaven for any Mustang enthusiast, even if you're not that into them it's still an excellent show. Fun for the whole fam! I do look forward to participating in next years show! See More

Great show!! Can't beat the location. Maybe got too big this year. Entrance was a pain this year. 45 minutes to park is too much. Also you split the 1964-1966 classes all over the park. Keep the...m together. The "awards" ceremony is TOO LONG 2 1/2 hours is too much. DO the auction separate or something. Also need a way to police the cars to make sure they are in the right class.

OVERALL? GREAT SHOW!! Will continue to come! THANKS!!

One of the best organized car shows I have ever attended, and certainly the best venue I have ever been to for a car show.

Really liked it, the only downside was the weather, so hot!! But that is outta their hands. Maybe earlier would be nice, like 8-12 instead so we wouldn't have to endure the scorching sun. Really love ...the location. Nice backdrop for us photographers. Good to have some waterfront as a backdrop compared to parking lot lines and or bioldings. See More
