Been doing tons of work to the course over the past few weeks. Looks amazing. Only a few more holes that need a little love and will be set for spring and summer!!! Come play!!!

In serious need of maintenance!

The new #4 is ready to go! It's a dog-leg right, about 290', with the same basket placements as before. We have created a 'between-the-hedges' hazard near basket placement A! Please look out for tree holes and privet staubs. You may be surprised, but an outside-in righty backhand will take the route as well or better than your flick! Thanks for all your hard work Haley Reese, Alex Vickroy, and Brent Evans. Thanks also to sponsor Amici Milledgeville and Jon Joiner!

Pouring concrete on 4, 14 and 16 today starting at 11 am. We need more hands. Come find us if you're free.

Huge thanks to David Brown and Nathan Vickroy for helping us get concrete pads on 1-3 today. Takes a village sometimes. Tomorrow we are putting steps on 3 and 15. Come find us in the morning.

We'll be working on the course this Wed. (Feb 8), including pouring some tee pads. Come out if you can!

Course work day tomorrow at 11 am. Come find us around the last 5 holes. Same time Wednesday and Thursday. Check here for the spot each day.

Course maintenance Tuesday-Thursday from 11-5 each day. Weather permitting, we will get 3 solid days to tackle the brush before she fights back in the Spring. Work the course or the course works you. We will keep the group posted on happenings each day. Spread the word and see y'all out there!

Had a great meeting last week with Georgia College RecSports and GC Grounds Operations about getting #MyrtleRidgeDGC in top shape for Intramural play next year! Lots of improvements in the works & we could use some helpers- please comment or email us bfcchainbangers at

Moved #11, #12, and #13 today, just because... Also poured cement on #18!! Things are getting better at Myrtle Ridge, and it's getting a lot of play!

This is #8 and it shows much of what we did today- spread gravel on improved tee boxes. The gravel isn't the best- it's a bit rough, but we hope that it will compact into a nice surface with more play. #5 got the full treatment, with a concrete surface! Please let us know what you think, and thank Taylor Sherwood when you see him out at the course!

Workday on Saturday, 27 February 16-- We'll be building tee pads for as many holes as we can. Show up at 9:00 am and please bring gloves & water. This is part of an Eagle Scout project and you will enjoy the result!

Before, During, and After clearing #18 at Myrtle Ridge... If you can see it, you can hit it!

Myrtle Ridge Disc Golf Course updated their cover photo.

Hard to believe, but this is the post where the current #2 is now. Out in the distance, on the right, just above the tone pole, is the current #1. This was in April 2007.

Did some good work on #18 today, and touched up #14 and #15. There is definitely a chain saw in the future for #18! Just so you guys all know, here is a photo from the tee of the current #1 from 2007. As you can see, there has been some significant growth out there since!

Excellent cool morning yesterday for a workday with Matt and Jake from the Bobcat Frisbee Club!! We cleaned up #13 nicely- Matt made some steps! Moved baskets: #15 to the long (yea!) and #17 to the left. More cleanup to come now that the weather is breaking, including, yes #18 so that you can see the basket again!! (If you can see it, you can hit it.)
