A suspicious package taped to a light pole in a parking lot turned out to be part of a faddish scavenger hunt game, Lincoln police said.

Fun event cache last night in Oroville for Leap Day hosted by Niwenomian. There were quite a few of the old "NUTS" group in attendance.
Rock & Crystal, Escapades, Thrak, Two Bison, retiredprof, 1whitevette, Jeo and Yar? Yar! and probably more.
Lots of reminiscing of caching back when there much fewer caches and cachers. It is great to see all the newer cachers enjoying the adventure and sharing their ideas and experiences.

This video is 4 years old but is a pretty good one to share with non cachers to explain the fun. Lee aka Alamogul had around 12,000 finds then closing in on 50,000 finds now.
