The Program in Educational Theatre at New York University's Steinhardt School will host the NYU Forum on Ethnodrama: The Aesthetics of Research and Playmaking.

Happy first week of school! There's so much happening and it's only the second day! New classes, Little Shop auditions, student teacher placements, preparations for Instant Gratification 24-Hour Play Festival, and the Ed Theatre Welcome Party on Saturday Night! Come on people, get involved!

Call for Nominations...
Honoring Exemplary Teaching Artists

Our committee is now accepting nominations to honor model teaching artists in our the field. These master teaching artists may be:

Innovators in teaching practice;
Seasoned guides to teaching artists entering and navigating the field; and/or
Thought leaders in sustaining dynamic teaching artist practice in the field.

Award recipients will receive a $250 honorarium, deliver a conference-wide speech, and co-moderate a plenary panel.

Nominations are welcome from colleagues, students, or supervising organizations.

Please write a letter of support to your nomination of no more than 200-words.

Please submit letters of support for your nominee to by Monday, February 17, 2014.
