Just a reminder that we feed the birds (and the squirrels) twice a day, 8:30 am and 1:30 pm, at the National Butterfly Center. And with as many birds as we've had coming into our bird feeding area lately, the bird feedings alone are worth the price of admission. So come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather we're experiencing today, and by all means...DON'T BE LATE!!! :-)

SPIKE UPDATE: He is home!!! Spike came back to the National Butterfly Center, yesterday. Today, he slept late and emerged from his new house to eat a big, healthy brunch. He has a full month of house calls by Dr. Harris ahead of him, because he still needs antibiotic injections every 72 hours...so THANK YOU to all who have given and continue to contribute to his veterinary care. Staff here is now responsible for daily baths, soaking and wound care, provided he continues to eat and exercise. We are so happy to have him home, and he will be happy to receive visitors as soon as we can re-open to the public! ✌❤🦋🐢
