I just love how simple this social engagement can make my wishful thinking of helping those in need(other than giving monetary support) happen even if it's just by packing some love bags. ♥ Thankful f...or the memorable experience and whoever is behind this advocacy, God bless you! See More

A fine social development foundation that exemplifies the best traits of the Negrenses- caring, reaching out, helping people who need help to help themselves.

Someday, when we will need to fund a project badly and there will be no takers, we just might perform onstage and earn a bit from the show. Presenting .... our cast of NVC talents!

Ambassador at Work. Diego Barrientos is our 14 year old envoy who made boxes to collect Nespresso capsules and presented them today to executives from Nestle Philippines. (Everything just happened so fast he had no time to do a quick change to don his NVC uniform). Apparently he did a good job at convincing because if you walk through the building you will find some of Diego's boxes there. He will take care of collecting these twice weekly and sending them over to our Bacolod-based artisan livelihood workshop where these capsules will be converted to beautiful forms

Market Vendors (30"x50")
Philippine life as seen in a market scene, fresh out of the #ArtisansOfHope workshop, a happy combination of broken tiles, discarded Nespresso capsules, eggshells and plastic chips put together to forms and figures which includes our usual breastfeeding Nanay (find her!) and other aspects of Filipino culture like care for the elderly.

Thank you Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. ! So happy to see "The Good Harvest" art piece, made with discarded Nespresso capsules (some of which came from your President Edith Villanueva), broken tiles, plastic chips and eggshells from NVC's #ArtisansOfHope workshop. Thank you for supporting and inspiring our artisans by acquiring this piece.
