Teach children to learn not how to pass a standardized test. Mediocrity is not the way. Fight harder for the teachers and students. Administration is top heavy. Clean up the mess you have made by rid of the many administrative for no valid reason positions. The good ol boy mentality needs to go away. Children and teachers are struggling under your wrath. More administrators do not fix a broken system. Just clogs the machine. Please. See More

I'm not a teacher. I'm not an administrator. To presume that I know what goes on daily in any given school would be false. I do know it is a difficult landscape out there and that teachers and admi...nistrators have much to deal with. God bless them and I pray daily that they will be successful in educating our children. I think our State Department of Education does much to help further that. See More

Get behind our teachers before we loose them all to other states who actually pay their teachers a respectable salary. I have a family member who went to college to teach, I work for a retail Store ...and make more than she does! That's pathetic. All of her paycheck goes back into the classroom See More

There is a misconception that if you (teachers & administrators) call the SDE that it puts your school in a negative light. That is absolutely untrue, and the individuals that work there are 99% of th...e time amazing and helpful. If you need an answer they can answer it or get you to the right person. There is no such thing as a "naughty list." See More

Oklahoma looses their best, brilliant, and knowledgeable people due to ignorance. I am retired, however I moved away 20 plus years to teach in another state. Doubled my salary and loved my job. Now asking for free substitute teachers. You could start by asking trump to sub. The ignoramce of the politicians there is speechless and I feel sorry for the children, especially my relatives. On hold 34 minutes and counting to find out why my check cleared 4 weeks ago, but no change has been made to add my master's degree online, and no certificate has been mailed.

When we voted lottery/gambling in the state of OK we understood most of the money would go to education (teacher pay, supplies etc). Only 3 percent does. What's up? What can we do to get a much highe...r percentage for schools?????? See More
