Here's a little info for everyone. Police are nothing. They think they are something but all they are absolutely nothing. When you are at your wits end, 3hrs away from home, lost and out of gas, and n...eed help and a police officer tells you to go to Hardee's for help because he has a meeting, that's wrong. I'll tell you who the real hero's are in oshkosh, wisconsin. A leutenant at the fire department, his men, they are a family. He listened to me. They listened. He helped us. They helped us. He gave us enough money to go home. They all did. He's the hero. FIRE FIGHTERS ARE THE REAL HEROS. Since being in this state, wisconsin. .... the whole justice system is CORRUPT. I was in so desperate need of help I openly admitted to an officer I blew a red light, went the wrong way on a one way, all on my permit, because i didnt know how to get to the parking lot and i just want to go home, he said I know it's ok, I saw you. I didn't get in trouble, but at this point I didn't care. The reality was we were screwed in the middle of a place I knew nothing about. And the one place you would think to help? The police right? WRONG. Firefighters not only go into fires and help people who are stuck in buildings or rescue cats from trees people. They Are Heros. Real heros. Please share, these guys never give up and saved 3 lives last night. Thank you to the Oshkosh fire department. I'm entirely in debt to you and yours, I love you guys. Thank you. -the girl from last night whom you saved with $30.♡ I've arrived back home safe. We all did. Thanks to you and your men.♡ See More

Thank you for all you do. My daughter was in great hands. Kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Making a terrified 5 year old and her parents feel at ease is no an easy task.

There is A LOT of misinformation out there regarding the fire and subsequent spill of Titanium Dioxide at AP Nonweiler 2 nights ago. Here are the facts:
-The area around AP Nonweiler did have Titanium Dioxide (white powder) floating in the nearby water and on the pavement. It was quite a mess, but it looked worse than it actually was.
-Titanium Dioxide is harmless to humans (and aquatic creatures). It is used in toothpaste and even some food products.
--Titanium Dioxide i...s water soluble and would therefore not travel very far in water it would either dissolve or sink (and then dissolve).
-The waterways around the spill have been been monitored by the OFD and DNR with meters that measure in parts per million and both have come up with zero ppm.
-The white foam that people are seeing on lake/lakeshore is NOT Titanium Dioxide. According to the DNR, it is a white algae that shows up at "ice out" almost every year and was present before the spill.
-Finally, the dead fish people are commenting on were also there prior to the spill. Again, this is common right after "ice out" on Lake Winnebago.

PLEASE Stop spreading false information and unnecessarily scaring people.

Thank you
