Beautiful space, wine was good and our server was nice. The downside was that service was terribly slow. We sat outside almost 15 minutes (after being told to sit anywhere and someone would come to y...ou), and decided to come inside to receive service. Checking out took over 20 minutes to pay at the front counter - 10 minutes of it staff walking past us without even acknowledging we were ready to pay for our tastings. See More

This is a must-do if you're in or around the area. The staff, from the owners, to their kiddos that work there and everyone else is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely welcoming. Ask for Amy - she... is the best for walking you through tastings and is a living doll! Oh and the wine is fantastic! See More

We love this winery! The wines are among the best in the country. The winery is owned and run by a family that invites you into their home to share wine and friendship. We have been a member for sever...al years. We help at harvest time once a year. We have made friends over great bottles of wine. See More

We are thrilled to announce that, among other medals we received from the recent 2018 San Francisco Wine Competition, Perissos was awarded two, highly-coveted Double Gold Medals for our 2015 Estate Grown Tempranillo, and another for our Dolcetto, grown by Diamante Doble Vineyards in the Texas High Plains. Double gold is awarded only when every judge on the panel gives it a gold. We are so excited!

Holiday Gift Package

Perissos is offering a special 6 Pack of wines for your holiday giving and enjoying. All of them have been awarded Gold, Double Gold, or Best of Class Medals at prestigious international wine competitions. As always at Perissos, all of them were made using 100% Texas fruit.

I love this time of the year -- the vines begin to go dormant and drop their leaves, the bulk of the 2017 red wines are finished and tucked away in the 58 degree barrel rooms, the air starts to get chilly and things slow down overall from the otherwise hectic pace of winemaking and grapegrowing. During this season of thanksgiving we are sincerely thankful for the support and encouragement of so many loyal friends and customers that we've made throughout the years. If any of you need any last minute wines for thanksgiving we have a really nice 6 pack/12 pack offering at a great price and we are open tomorrow. Cheers and Happy thanksgiving.

Perissos Vineyard and Winery added 8 new photos to the album: Done — at Perissos Vineyard and Winery.

It is done! Well, not everything of course. But, the harvesting, crushing, primary fermentation and pressing is all done for 2017 as of yesterday. All tolled the season went very well, and most importantly the fruit quality was outstanding, which should make for some very promising wines in the next few years. Following are some pics of the last few weeks. We can't wait to share these wines with all of you in the not too distant future. With the reds, we do have to be super patient..by only a few years or so.

Come join us tomorrow, Friday, Sept 29th, for happy hour from 12-2pm

We are just now beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel for the 2017 harvesting season. The grapes have been of stellar quality for the most part and it has been a great year overall. We plan on harvesting our last 3 acre block of Estate Aglianico this week here at Perissos. We'll also be harvesting a few truckloads of Montepulciano and other grapes from the High Plains this and next week. We should be largely wrapped up with crushing and processing by the end of September. After that we'll be busy transferring wine into barrels and maybe getting a little rest and relaxation from the pressures of harvesting. Attached are a few pics from the processing thus far. Cant wait to share these wines with all of you in the coming years.
