My partner and I drive to Palm Springs once a month to have brunch. We usually really enjoy this place which is why I gave it two stars. Our last visit (February 4, 2018) will be our last. We arrive o...ur waiter took our drink order he brought our drinks. When my partner said she didn’t want juice just the champagne, he grabbed the juice and replied, “then you shouldn’t have ordered the mimosas.” We never order the juice just the champagne. Misunderstanding, we moved on. Moises took our order and dropped off our food. I had to get up and get condiments myself, he didn’t offer any, and never came back to refill my water. We wait about 20 minutes after we finish our meal but our waiter never came back. I finally got another employee to take my card since I never received a ticket. Moises never came back to our table, after he ran our card we could see him standing in the corner talking to another employee. The gentleman who originally took my card asked the waiter twice to bring us our ticket and he never did. I had to get up from my seat and go to him to pay and get my card back. Totally unacceptable a customer should never have find a person so they can pay their tab and leave. I’m totally bummed because this guy ruined this place for us! See More

By far the rudest restaurant we have ever been to and that is saying a lot since we are pretty easy going people. We arrived yesterday to meet our friend standing in the back of the restaurant at 8:4...5am and were seated. Our server came to us immediately and was pleasant. One of our orders was wrong but fixed it with a 10 minute delay. Food was ok but nothing special. Our check was delivered and we paid around 9:50am. Shortly after the bus boy abruptly grabbed our water glasses off the table and literally took it out of my husband's hand. He told him he wasn't done with his water and grabbed it back however the rest of us didn't get what just happened and glasses were gone. I asked our waitress to give us our water glasses back and some water and she said that there was a 90 minute table rule and that we could go sit at the bar and ask for water there and she was sorry. HUH? We basically ignored her request because we still had roughtly 20 minutes according to this "policy" but she told us she was sorry as she couldn't bring the water back. The bus boy came by AGAIN and no kidding...grabbed by husbands water glass off the table and my husband grabbed it back out of his hand again! Another employee came to the table and we told him we still had more time at our table and I quote his comment was "we clocked you and you are at 102 minutes so you need to go to the bar if you want to stay". This was absolutely not true regarding the timing, looking at the time on our receipt was also proof and we still had 10 minutes left since we arrived. Seriously, they were timing us and brought it to out attention in this manner? I can't believe after spending $76- on our breakfast common sense wouldn't treat people like this. Timing your customers, treating us like we are doing Pinocchio's a favor by spending our money there and the lack of communication about the policy we can't believe this place is still in business. We left upset and will spread the word on the lack of value this restaurant has on its customers and our experience there. See More

The French Dip had some kind of "fake meat" not the roast beef described on the menu and previously tried by me and one of my others quests. I have had them multiple times there before as had one othe...r of our group but they were awful yesterday, as was the potato salad swimming around in too much mayo. Been going there since it opened but never again. Bad food and experience all around. One star only because I had to choose at least one. See More

Good value, my service was ok but never came to refill my water and were closing up the restaurant around me as I ate. Unlimited prosecco is great offer but its the horrible cheap sweet stuff so wasnt... great personally. I am solo traveller and they cleared my plate snd water away whilst in the ladies room so not impressed as I hadnt finished. If you go- go early as they start packing away at 130 so totally spoilt my lunch al fresco! Seafood salad was great but crab, shrimp and scallops all tasted the same. See More

I understand that it was busy because of Pride, but my service was beyond terrible. My waiter was very short and almost dismissive. We had to ask for water 3 times before he finally brought it to us a...nd it took 45-60 minutes for the food to come out! I usually love this place, but I will be making a different choice next time I'm in town. See More

Cute place and very lively! It is EXTREMELY crowded though and you’re basically sitting on the people next to you. Somewhat iconic to Palm Springs so we went but I was disappointed as I could barely h...ear my boyfriend talking to me and had no space to myself. Also has a very limited patio space. Food isn’t anything amazing but they have really good brunch specials and bottomless mimosas. If you like a lot of noise and lively place, this is the brunch place for you! If you like a patio and some space to hangout and meet a few people around you, I’d find another location! See More

Florentine Eggs Benedict was the BEST I’ve ever had! We went in Sunday at 10am , packed house but were seated for 3 in 2min! Waitress was amazing and attentive, host was welcoming and smiling. Clea...n atmosphere and even though place was packed we got our food in a very timely manner. My new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! If you’re in town, GO! You won’t regret it. See More

My Lobster Benedict wasn't out of this world. The lobster seemed more like langostino with some crab mixed in. The hollandaise was excellent but the poached eggs were over cooked. I should have sent i...t back. I was hungry, they were busy, and I didn't want to wait. My guest ordered Salmon Benedict which were perfect. Hit or miss. I expected chuncks of Maine Lobster, no crab, and no spinach. See More

Good food however was a little offended by a busser. He rudely comes by and moves chair my feet were propped on. Ever heard of humans having medical conditions with circulation in the feet? Not very s...mart. Also service could use improvement. Went on a Monday and for no more than 25 active tables they should have been far more concerned with " take touching " than a customer's legs. Great diner food, with a Mexican flair. Huge crowd, so popular and you need to wait for a table or sit at the bar. Great hostess, friendly staff, even the owner behind the bar who NEVER cracks a smile

Bustling weekend brunch restaurant. It’s amazing how they are able to serve so many people with efficiency. Great food and big menu.

Dear Friends,
A Dutch published author wants to find a good literary agent in the US for a nonfiction book (genre: memoir/self-help/spiritual).

The author’s name is Pascale Bruinen. In 2015, she published her first nonfiction book at De Fontein, a major Dutch publishing house, entitled ‘Fortunately, my first corpse is fresh’, a very personal story about the challenges of her job as a public prosecutor. In 2016, she published her second nonfiction book entitled ‘The year of t...he owl’ at Kosmos, also a major Dutch publisher. This is a memoir about an intense spiritual experience she had after her father died and which made her embark on a transformational journey from prosecutor to writer.
Pascale is specifically looking for an American literary agent who is interested in ‘The year of the owl’.

Do you know such an agent or do you know somebody who does and who might give her a referral? If so, please let Pascale know via her email:

For more information on Pascale and her books, please check out her website (which has an English version) at
Thanks a lot!
