Great food, great vibe! Stopped by for lunch yesterday, make sure you get there a little early to avoid the lunch rush. Had the rosemary, potato, red onion, spicy béchamel pizza.....delicious! They... have great pepperoni rolls, but I like the veggie rolls (cauliflower, spinach/feta, etc.) even better. We had also ordered some takeaway, and when we mentioned that they had left out one of the items they quickly fixed it and also gave us a little lagniappe too! Sweet! See More

I moved to New Orleans from Jersey City, New Jersey, almost a year ago with my wife. Although I like some of the other pizzerias in New Orleans, I was missing that pizza taste from back home. I was to...ld over and over again from friends who had moved to New Orleans from NJ and NYC that Pizza D was legit. We finally decided to drive there and give it a go. The garlic knots and pepperoni pizza are the closest to thing to what I know back home. My only complaint is that they don't deliver to Mid City. Hey, not everything can be perfect, but it's definitely worth the drive! See More

Grabbed 4 knives and forks and they were all still dirty with leftover food on them
Definitely not the best pizza in the area and the pepperoni and spinach rolls weren't good either.
Would not reco...mmend and don't understand the hype at all. See More

Outstanding giant pies draped in cheese and toppings. Thin crust with just the right amount of chew. The house salad was perfect for sharing. Unseasonably chilly temps outside packed the dining room ...and the atmosphere was lively and warm. See More

The pizza is great! And we really enjoyed the Caesar salad! Great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. There’s also a cute little playground around the corner if you have little ones that want run around after lunch. See More

Been trying to find pizza similar to New York style for a while. Came from Northshore with the family. The pizza is great and also the shrimp fra diavlo. Good stuff.

Huge fan of the pizza, which is what I usually have (cheese mostly). Garlic knots top notch too and the marinara sauce kicks... you know what. My wife loves the salads, the pepperoni rolls, not so muc...h. I never try the cookies but they look good. Not every place is for everyone, so I respect those who aren't fans, but the service is always friendly and the pizza huge and top notch if you like that softer, foldable New York stuff, which I do. It's certainly worth a try, at worst you'll be satisfied, at most you'll love it. I doubt you'll be unhappy. See More

Great food, from the pepperoni rolls to the pizza. I eat here multiple times a month and look forward to every visit. The only bad was some strange painting that reads "no for nazis". If my memory s...erves me correct, werent the nazis killed off around 70 years ago? This painting must ne pretty old and valuable. Great food though. See More

Great pizza. Chewy crust and spicy (but not too much) tomato sauce. Hand tossed pies. Fun people. This is good pizza!

Holy crap! This pizza is some of the best I've had and NOT just in New Orleans. The garlic knots are unreal! EAT HERE.

Pay close attention to the negative reviews telling you the hype is all false. To start-They use bikes to deliver which limits them away from the hotels which forces you to Uber or drive. They have co...okies which are terrible and 1 demensional and for whatever reason they dont have milk so hopefully you like pop and cookies. The pizza is under seasoned and has a flavorless dough. I know pizza is not this areas specialty but places close by are showing off that you dont have to be a Po boy shop either. This place is not worth the hassle or money. See More

Passable. No idea what the hype is for and it's laughable that people claim this to be the best pizza in New Orleans. Maybe it's the best pizza in Bywater because it's the only pizza place. It was dec...ent enough I suppose but no better than mall pizza. Now I didn't eat the vegan and organic BS, just a slice of typical pepperoni. I've had NYC pizza and this is not it. A better name for it would be Pizza It's Okay. Very disappointing. See More

We eat a pizza delicious all the time. I don't know why, but for some reason I think today their pizza was absolutely the best I have ever had. The crust was too perfection. I got playing cheese and I... think from now on I may just stick to playing cheese I can't say enough how much I loved it. See More

My only complaint is that they don't deliver to my house. Better nyc style pizza than most places, including many in NYC itself. The only pizza in New Orleans worth eating. The salads and pasta are reliably great. See More

Best pizza in New Orleans hands down!! If the eggplant parm pizza is on the menu when you go, GET IT!!! GET A WHOLE PIE!! DONT SECOND GUESS IT!!! because it won't be there for a while. I think the who...le pies are better than the slices because they are so fresh, but the slices are still good, just not as incredible as the whole pie. This review is coming from a guy that went to culinary school, constantly cooks and bakes at home, even pizza, and my pizza is pretty damn close, but it will never be, the best, PIZZA D!!! See More

This pizza is awful. Tried it today for the first time. Crust was burnt, very little cheese, and no taste. I’ll never buy it again.

How do we keep things special? Well, we start with some of the largest of rigatonis (paccheri, as it is known in Calabria). Then we add impeccable smoked salmon, a poetic lemon butter sauce, some frisky sugar snap peas, and the fraichest of cremes. And then we dance with our hips.
