Open Streets Knoxville

Bike Walk Knoxville is seeking an Open Streets Knoxville coordinator for a part-time position beginning immediately upon hiring and continuing until December 20...16.
Tasks will include:
• Initiate sponsorship recruitment.
• Manage the committees (programming/logistics, sponsorships, and marketing) involved in the production of Open Streets Knoxville.
• Create and finalize sponsor agreements, and then manage the fulfillment of agreements, including follow up after the event.
• Collect information on needs and requirements for participation (e.g., space requirements, proximity to related participants, etc.)
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage complex projects
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with community outreach, event planning and/or volunteer management
• Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience with spreadsheets and timelines
Pay rate dependent on qualifications.
Hours: 10-15 hours/week initially with increase to 20 hours/week by April 2016
