The mosquitoes have been out in full force recently. Our Public Works Department will begin mosquito spraying this week. Spraying will then occur every Tuesday and Thursday evening between 7 and 10:30 p.m.

The mist is an environmentally friendly product that is a "contact" insecticide. The product dissipates from the environment within hours of application and spraying does not occur if winds are higher than 10 mph.

To continue to protect yourself and your family, the Iowa Department of Public Health suggests using bug spray and wearing long sleeves.
