I think PC police are the best keep cracking down on all these drugs in this city it's perthetic all these young people dieing it's very sad then the family's are toring apart.God keep our officers safe every day and in Jesus name Amen.

There are times when I'm so grateful and stand up for and behind our department, then there are times like tonight when I wonder what the point of reporting anything does. I get they were busy, however a simple barricade could have solved the problem.

I love this police dept. They have helped me and my mother a lot when she has worked at a hotel and needed the police. They are very polite and respectful!!! (: nothing but great things to say about these men and women!

Excellent job today with the OCSO during the 6 hour standoff. We live a block away and always felt that we were safe and protected. Hopefully the woman gets the help she needs.

PCPD Chief Rob Hickman accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS & Law Enforcement Memorial Fund today. He stepped it up by using the FOP Lodge 79 dunk tank. Chief has now challenged the members of the Ottawa County Chiefs of Police Association along with some fellow K9 friends. Let's see if they accept the challenge!

UPDATE @ 5:48am, Buckeye Excavating has CANCELLED the work on the Madison Street intersection for the day due to weather...

Madison Street Construction UPDATE - June 23rd, 2017:

...

Friday June 23rd work will begin on the intersection of Madison & 2nd Street. Buckeye Excavating will be installing a new sanitary sewer manhole. The intersection will be closed until the contractor has moved pass the intersection. Continuing south to east 3rd street. Tentatively to finish up WEATHER permitting on Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th. Please be advised there is a chance of thunderstorms this evening and again for Friday. All work is weather permitting!

Once the contractor approaches the intersection at east 3rd. The West and East 3rd intersection shall be closed:

East bound on West 3rd will only be able to turn South on Madison Street.

West bound on East 3rd will be closed at Jefferson & East Third intersection LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY to get to Ala Carte parking lot & the Doctor’s office.
