This is the first I have visited this market and I come from the Gold Coast. My husband used to own a unit at South Yarra and took me to the markets yesterday.

I go to prahran market every week. Bought a pack of lentils last weekend at the shop 53 degrees east. When I arrived home and put them in water, a large dead bu...g floated out of the lentils. I went back this weekend and spoke with the owner of the shop about my bad experience

The place is very nice but the food is just terrible at some places. I just bought some chorizo in a place supposed to sell delicatess

As a whole thought the market was good but purchased pasta from the fresh pasta place with sauces and garlic bread. Cost me $53 and it was very ordinary. Very disappoint

The hotdogs and coffee were delicious � surely go back again. Just unaware the market closes at 3pm on Sun and shops were closing after we finished our lunch :)
