Today, the Department of Education clarified that it will not investigate discrimination complaints from trans students who are denied access to school faciliti...es that align with their gender identity.

In the wake of this news, continue to be an advocate and a friend for all your LGBTQ+ students and youth–but especially those who are trans, non-binary, intersex, or gender-non-conforming. They need us now more than ever!

Hey Everyone! It's Andromeda! Just wanted to let everyone know that Pride Center is still accepting donations for Hope House. Thank you for everyone that has been dropping off clothes and coats. It is GREATLY appreciated!! We have about one more week before we drop off the goods so let's make it a good one!!! We still need planners, pens, calculators, dictionaries, art supplies, board games, socks, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant/anti-antiperspirant, feminine hygie...ne products, shaving cream/razors, toothbrushes/toothpaste, laundry detergent and dryer sheets,For the Women & Children's House specifically — NEW Crib sheets & teethers, infant formula and diapers.

Volunteer Organizing, Event Planning, Marketing, Outreach, Sponsorships and more! Sunday January 28th 4:30pm - Pride Center 332 Hudson Ave, Albany!

Please join us the Saturday from Noon - 2pm for our 2nd community forum at the Pride Center, 332 Hudson Ave. Pride Center staff and board will be on-hand to update the community on Pride Center programming, events, news, as well as answer questions and share ideas.

So, you think you can sing? Or dance? Or play the jazz flute? Then Friday is your time to shine!
Singing, dancing, spoken word, poetry, showcase some art, play an instrument etc ..
This is family-friendly fun. There is no pressure and no theme.

This is our monthly potluck for all of those in our LGBT community that are 55+.
Join us this Sunday, January 21 from 1-3pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 362 State St. Albany. Bring a dish to share and come join the fun!
This is our first potluck of the new year so we've invited Special Guest FRIEDA to join us for trivia. Laughter, food, friends, and FUN!
