WEATHER ADVISORY: The National Weather Service indicates that our area may have snow, sleet and freezing rain tomorrow although less than an inch is possible. Please remember Wipers On – Light On. Have a safe weekend friends!
SKIMMER ALERT: This afternoon, officers were dispatched to the Sheetz located at Hillendale Dr and the Prince William Pkwy after an internal skimming device was found on an interior PNC ATM. If you have used this ATM recently, you are asked to monitor your bank accounts for fraudulent activity. Since this device was internal, it was not visible to the outside of the ATM.
REMINDER: Always do an external check of an ATM around the card reader for signs of tampering. ATMs may have a security seal around important areas of the machine. If you find anything that appears suspicious, do not use the ATM and notify an employee or the police.
SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING
Across the nation, we are all part of communities. In cities, on farms, and in the suburbs, we share everyday moments with our neighbors, colleagues, family, and friends. It is easy to take for granted the routine moments in our every day—going to work or school, the grocery store or the gas station. However, your every day is different than your neighbor is—filled with the moments that make it uniquely yours. Therefore, if you see something you know should not be there—or someone's behavior that does not seem quite right—say something. Because only you know what is supposed to be in your everyday. Many thanks to these darlings from AWANA kids at Calvary Baptist Church for making and stopping by the eastern district station last night to deliver delicious cupcakes to the squads. They told us “Thanks for all you do for our community and keeping us safe”. #Adorbs
