Ask Governor Newsom to sign SB 1064 into law.

SB 1064 would bar the California parole board from denying release based on uncorroborated information from unreliable sources. It would also protect incarcerated people from being found guilty of rules violations - and suffering the associated disciplinary actions, including parole denial - based on uncorroborated information from unreliable sources.

It’s time to provide incarcerated folks with the same due process protections t...he California courts have afforded those on the outside for nearly a decade.
