Congratulations to our students who participated in the 2018 Midwest Dairy Challenge held in Madison, WI last week. 150 total students represented 10 states and Canada. All students were broken into teams and evaluated a dairy farm, then recommended changes to improve profitability of that dairy farm.
Eight Purdue students, under the instruction of Dr. Jackie Boerman, participated in this year's contest. From top to bottom in the photo: Bryan Hurst, Brandon Van Soest, Ashley Binder, Rachel Haynes, Tabby Steckler, Jessica Bydalek, Krizia Lepiz, and Miranda Fuelling.
Krizia Lepiz was on a 1st place team; Rachel Haynes and Ashley Binder were both on 2nd place teams.
