This morning some of our members turned out to cleanup and prep the garden for planting. We even had help from our youngest member!

Invasive weed alert! We all hate this stuff. Stay ahead of this yucky stuff. It takes over quickly. No more Garlic Mustard!

Invasive garlic mustard is maturing quickly! Here are a couple more photos, currently plants are just starting to form flower stalks. At this stage it is stil...l ok to pull and drop the plant where it was - no seeds will be able to mature. A great time to be out pulling up any and all that you can find!

We met at Gateway in Kenosha & toured their greenhouse. Kate Field, Horticulture professor, then spoke to us about Pollinators. We also met & learned a bit about one of our scholarship winners, Bianca.
