Wine was very good. I recommend the reserve reisling. We had wine tasting before our dinner reso. Combined purchase of 6 bottles of wine. When we sat down we were told that we would be able to the wine with additional 10% discount. Very disappointing that the discount wasn’t offered considering they were aware we had dinner reservations. Unpleasantly surprised with cost of a bottle during dinner. Would have been cheaper if we had bought by the glass. Appetizers were great we tried everything. Main entrees were okay. Dessert was good. Would I return? For wine yes. Dinner no See More

We visit Ravine Winery frequently when we do the discovery pass/passport programs and we enjoy the wines that your vineyard produces. Unfortunately the last three discovery pass events that we have at...tended, Ravine has served their wine pairings in cheap plastic Dixie cups instead of real wine glasses. We made it to 18 wineries this past Wine and Chocolate event and your winery was the only one using plastic cups. We are not snobs by any means but it takes away from the overall experience. Please consider using real tasting wine glasses in future tasting events! See More

Was at the winery's restaurant for a work lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the beets and goat's cheese salad, the baked winter squash and grains main dish (being a vegetarian) and the... brûlée for dessert. I wish they had more vegetarian options but still the one main dish I had was tasty and flavorful. I absolutely love the rustic decor of the restaurant and can't wait to come again come springtime when everything around the property is green. Will definitely be back! See More

Service was good, food is tasty and a bit on the pricy side with a great view. We went for brunch, for 2 people and no alcohol about $80 (fix Pricing menu and la carte). I would suggest this place, we... didn't try any wine. There is also a patio but not open yet. See More

Always a great meal and a great glass of wine. I recommend the reserve Riesling or Cab Franc. But, if you drink red, consider the Redcoat, it's a blend of three reds & very unique.

I love the wine but did not appreciate the atmosphere. Very busy and management could care less. They did nothing to try and open more tasting area or talk to people waiting to make it more pleasant.... The one tasting area was set up the the trail but not busy at all. Could have been handled much better. We did not buy wine because of it See More

My husband and I went to Ravine on a Friday night, yes it was very busy,
We were met with a lovely young lady who served us and was very knowledgeable in the food and wine.
We were not disappointed, ...the Beet salad with goat cheese was fantastic, the wine was great,
My husband had the duck, I had the pork,
The pork was not a choice I would usually have but , hello, it was so tender, best pork I have eaten in a very long time.
The evening was great,
we are monthly members of this winery and enjoy receiving our monthly
Wines with a food item....
I give them a two thumbs up.

Shared appetizers and individual first courses all arrived at the same time. Felt rushed to finish before main course arrived. Pork was unedible. Couldn't cut through it because it was so fatty and t...ough. We've been here a few times but yesterday was just a bad dinner. See More

My husband and I have really enjoyed dining at ravine in the past but today we had a terrible experience with the short blonde haired employee/manager (hopefully not). She made us feel extremely unwel...come after we had just 3 hours of our time at the winery with our family for lunch/tasting/touring. The food is great but with her attitude I would seriously consider somewhere else from now on. She did apologize but her excuse for her behaviour was crap. She ruined the end of a really great day. Thanks alot. See More

The wine is great, I especially love their Sauvignon Blanc. I have not found better Niagara wines anywhere else. However the food is not up to par with the wine. The menu could used to be expanded, a...nd the food was a bit bland. Nothing terrible that couldn't be fixed easily. See More

This was our first winery experience and I seriously doubt any other winery will be able to top it. No one else showed up for our scheduled tour time so we have the good fortune to get a private tour.... The whole staff seemed genuinely interested in where we were from and what brought us there (we were there for our honeymoon). I believe our tour guides name was Jill, I wish I could remember for sure because she was awesome. My husband is not a huge fan of wine so she kindly brought some cider for the tasting. We stopped by the chicken coup and chatted about the vineyards role in the community and how most of the food from the restaurant came from their organic garden. We even saw the owner who has valiantly maintained the 5th generation family-owned vineyard despite hovering subdivision developers. Jill seemed to genuinely love the history and story she was telling about the property. She answered all our random questions. I felt like the three of us were just hanging out, talking about history and wine. Everything about our visit was wonderful. Thank you Ravine!! See More

One of the prettiest wineries Ive visited in the Niagara region. Gorgeous wines, delicious food with live music playing on the patio ... truly a highlight of our trip. Special 'shout out' to the reall...y attentive and informative staff doing the tastings. Our personal favs include the 2016 Sand and Gravel Sauvignon Blanc alongwith the Ravine Brut and 2015 Cab Sav. We got married here a year ago. It was an incredible evening. The staff were unbelievable. Despite our wedding being very small, 19 people total, when we returned a year later the wedding coordinator ...Coleen, still remembered our faces and names. See More

Neither of us knew what to expect, having received a gift certificate for Ravine Vineyard Estate as a Christmas gift. It was an awesome experience! We were seated at the back with a beautiful view o...f the vineyard. Although I understand the servers were new, service was excellent! I had the mixed beet and goat cheese salad, and the cod; my husband had creamy asparagus soup and the braised lamb shank. All were superb! Normally I like rhubarb crumble but I found this presentation unexpected with the crumble disc more like a hard cookie on top of the rhubarb. Still..... it was a great meal and terrific experience! We're from Burlington, but it's worth the trip and we'll be back 👍 See More
