Early Sunday morning, two skaters from Tulsa were hit by a drunk driver. Rose Rage was pinned under a truck and sustained a pelvis broken in multiple places, a broken sternum, bruised lungs, a tear in her bladder, and other assorted complications. You can help by donating to this fundraiser: https://www.gofundme.com/5afhyuo. Anything earned though this fund aims to help with medical costs accrued through this major ordeal.
RRG's March Black and White Open Scrimmage is tonight! $5 per skater. Come early to fill out paperwork, get put on a team and be ready to hit the floor at 8 pm. Scrimmage starts at 8:30 pm. WFTDA insurance is required. Officials from any leagues are welcome. This scrimmage is co-ed. Don't forget your black and white tops!
Rest in Peace, #42.
Last night I met Professor Stephen Hawking as he came to see the world of roller derby. To be totally honest I was pretty damn starstruck, but I did get some ni...ce pictures of him while he met Hereford Roller Derby. I'll post a few tomorrow night, but for now here's a picture of the Horror Bulls presenting him with his brand new roller derby name. Say hello to The Hawk!

Happy International Women's Day to the incredible community of ladies who have kept RRG rolling for all of these years
Here's a bit of inspiration from our derby sisters in Scotland in honor of the occasion.
On #InternationalWomensDay we proudly share this brave, bold and inspirational blog from Skate Skills 101 member LMT. Read LMT's story on how she decided to #Be...BoldForChange and take up roller derby. "For now, it simply means having fun, not allowing my looks determine my physical activity, and being surrounded by supportive women who are there for the same reasons." #IWD
