I shouldn't have to post this, but I need to explain how a manufacturer warranty works due to an interaction with a customer today because they broke their phone two weeks after buying it and expected me to replace it out of my own pocket.
What does it cover:
Any failure not caused by customer damage and resulting from the defect in a component ...
from the manufacturing process. Basically the phone stops working on it's own.
Phone cannot have signs of being dropped. Example, deep scratches, dents in the corner, liquid exposure, cracked frame and cracked glass.
Customer may be responsible for shipping the phone back for repair and will NOT receive a loaner phone unless provided by customer or other arrangements can be made with retailer.
What's NOT covered:
You dropped it and cracked the screen from the time you purchased it until it was damaged. Doesn't matter if it was 5 minutes after purchasing it.
It got wet because you dropped it in the toilet, bathtub, sink, glass of milk, pool, got caught out in the rain or god forbid, bodily fluids got on it.
Jammed the charge cord in upside down or using the phone while charging. This creates stress on the charge port which can cause damage.
The manufacturer and the retailer (meaning us) are not responsible for your mishap. This doesn't mean we don't care, but you are solely responsible for your equipment and actions. Please do not expect us to replace the equipment at our expense. This is not how the world works. If we can offer a discount and not make a dime on a replacement, we can and will depending on the circumstance. We may not always have a cheap phone available. Repairs may cost more than the phone was originally. Most phones are sold at a discount that doesn't represent the real value, so repairs may seem expensive compared to the original purchase price. We're not out to screw anyone over, but we're not going to go out of business replacing customers phones because they can't be responsible enough to take care of it. Insurance is available on a lot of phones whether we offer it or not. All you have to do is ask at the time of purchase. Also, most of the time we carry cases and tempered glass to help protect the phone. If I don't have it, I can usually order it. If you don't take the necessary steps to protect your phone, then you risk damaging it.

NADIA & KAYE UPDATE (4th July 2017)
We cannot believe the response to this post – OVER 20 million views and counting. Snapchat have now issued a statement and we are very pleased to include it here…..”The safety of our community is very important to us and we want to make sure that all Snapchatters, parents and educators have accurate information about how the Snap Map works. With Snap Map, location-sharing is off by default for all users and is completely optional. Snapchatters can choose exactly who they want to share their location with, if at all, and can change that setting at any time. It’s also not possible to share your location with someone who isn’t already your friend on Snapchat, and the majority of interactions on Snapchat take place between close friends.”
We will be posting a follow up film highlighting how to enable the Ghost settings on SnapChat and will be discussing the implications of SnapMap for youngsters and parents alike.
We will be closed today. We were broken into. Anyone know of someone selling a bunch of iphones, please let us know on facebook. I have all serial numbers.
