While I was in New York, I took on the challenge to design this jacket with help from my friend and model in these photographs, Isaiah. I'm so happy with the direction my work is going, trying new things, and finding a happy equilibrium between all of my interests- storytelling, social causes, surrealism, fashion, etc. Just like life, creating art requires such a balance, and when my style carries through to everything I create, I love that. Every photograph for me, is a ch...ance to try something different and to master that skill to add to future projects. What is something that you find brings balance in your life? I'm curious what practices help other people conquer their fears and stay positive in the face of challenges?
With my world workshop tour starting in just over a week, I can't wait to bring all these elements to my students and collaborators alike.
