Health Canada is concerned with the potential for a child to drink the lamp oil out of our rock candles. Because our candles do not have child locking lids (when not in use) we had to switch our fuel recommendation to something natural. Peanut oil seems to work best. It will give you a smaller flame then the paraffin. The product can continue to be used with 100% peanut oil. Please let us know if you have any questions.

PARRSBORO — Like a rock. That like for everything rock-related escalated into a form of devotion in Parrsboro on the weekend. “It’s amazing to see what comes from our Earth and how it can be used,” said Karen Dickinson, co-ordinator of the 49th annual Nova Scotia Gem and Mineral Show.
